At first I thought that I would get laughed at a bit for listing Supernatural. However, I am very happy to see fellow Supernatural fans here! But yeah.... Supernatural was one of those accidental discoveries that became a really guilty pleasure.

Then again, I play with plastic army soldiers... so maybe not a guilty pleasure.

COMEDY:

South Park: South Park has been one of my favourite shows since I was a kid, I didnt get the jokes back then but the older I got the funnier the show got. The show is starting to show signs of slowing down what with the jokes being a little hit and miss lateley and the rumours that the creators are thinking of ending the show. Personally I think the show is doing better then some of the other cartoon comedies of its time like Simpsons and Family Guy but it too is starting to get a little weak. Butin many ways the show still has much to offer.

Big Bang Theory: I love this show. The characters, the stories, the jokes just everything. I used to hate the show until i actually sat down and watched a couple of episodes. Even the addition of new regular characters to the series in Season 4 didnt affect the show in a negative way as I feared it might. My only issue with the show is the DVD's arent coming out as fast as Im watching them.

Simpsons: Used to be my favourite show of all time nd in some ways still is. The classic Simpson's, maybe everything before Season 12 or 11 is possibly some of the best cartoon television I have seen in my lifetime. Episodes I have seen a trillion times still make me laugh and the characters were just perfect. It is a shame what their creators have done to them by pushing the show forward and in turn draining the show of ideas and actually managing to devolve character development. Homer especially has not been treated well by Matt groening, he used to be one of the funniest charcters on tv but has become a 2d caricature of himself.

American Dad: Superior to Family Guy.

King of the Hill: A little hit and miss sometimes but genuinely good jokes, stories and characters.

DRAMA:

Criminal Minds: Possibly the only crime show I can enjoy sitting down and watching multiples episodes in a single sitting.

Anime:
Birdy the mighty: because I like aliens and martial arts, so, go figure.

Clannad: always makes me cry at the end of the series.

Corpse princess: well, it's a gainax series, so the animation is wild and the story is great, basically zombies killing zombies so they can go to heaven.

Gundam wing: I grew up watching this, I loved the soundtrack, even though I didn't know what they were saying in the song, this is the best mecha, bar evangelion.

Ruroni kenshin: I got through junior high with this anime, it was my first DVD purchase, the story is pretty genuine, for a shonen jump series.

Rozen maiden: I love the aspect of victorian style dolls doing battle to become a real girl.

Lucky star: no plot line, no continuity, just depictions of everyday life of highschool girls in japan, but it often parodies popular anime.

Fate stay night: stunning visuals, great story, and there's always new stuff coming out.

Pokemon: really don't need to explain the childhood classic, but hated the newer pokemon.

Ergo proxy: blade runner meets x-files.

Comedy

King of the hill: I live in texas, I grew up in texas, I know people like the characters in the show, so I laugh every time I see it.

Adventure time: an animated parody of just about every RPG

Superjail: for the inner oz fan

Aqua teen hunger force: it was funny season 2-5, but now, it seems lame, but I love meatwad still.

Squidbillies: white-trash hillbilly squids in georgia, that alone is funny.

The Sheild - Great series, was a real roller coaster in the first few series. The ending was a real downer, not because it wasn't well written or acted (it was) but the
Spoiler:
inevitable deaths of so many characters (murder suicides included) just to make Vic so solitary just brought me down. I really wanted to see them all ride off into the sunset with the cash!

Aye, typically it got canned just as Spelling was finally starting to understand what he was working with. The final three to four episodes totally out did the rest of the series, but by then it was sadly too late.

Still has one of my fave moments in a series, just for the old sentimetal git in me, when the new younger vamp heads across the bar/club? from where she just got rejected by her 'hero' and she cries tears of blood as she walks away. That stands out in my mind even though I haven't watched it for ages.

Alright, i've seen enough opinions on here to go ahead and ask.
is the series 'Red Dwarf' worth buying? i use to catch it every once

Twice. I owned the whole thing on VHS and then again on DVD. And buy the 2-disc sets with the extra features, they are hilarious.

Yeah,IMO the series should have ended with season 5 ( as it was supposed to),and I did notice Kripke's absence .
...It appears that as season six draws to a close there is some attempt being made to make sense of the "Huh?" that has permiated most of season...but it's a bit meh...and it also seems as though a season seven is looming on the horizon.
