I had to learn to relax my fingers - I tend to take a deathgrip on the brush, which doesn't help with cramps and fatigue.

Also, sometimes it helps to 'anchor' your pinkie, either on a table surface, or in the palm of your other hand.

I actually set the mini in a clamp and then I hold the brush in my dominant hand, and hold onto it with my left hand to steady the brush. Works wonders
