If I have 10 units, my opponent has 15, he tables me and I score 11 points, I win the Killpoint mission. If my opponent does not have scoring units left on the board (or not able to reach any objectives with them) and tables me, we tie on objectives.

But there are also tournaments where tabling also results in an automatic massacre. (A rule I do not support)

Unless something in your tournament contradicts the wipeout rule on page 90 of the rule book, you guys are doing it wrong. You can never win a game if your army is wiped off the table.

Agreed, a wipeout is always a loss. Now I totally disagree with the whole wipeout=massacre thing, but thats a different topic

Ill just make a 3 KP army and auto-win all KP games even if I get wiped out.. Not gonna happen!

Ha ha, blood angels ftw in the 3 kp tourney.

As far as a tourney goes, you are generally using custom missions and custom scoring scenarios so that stuff would all fall to the TO defining what happens in a Wipeout situation.

I count that as cheating as he has been playing for years and even made it to 'Ard Boyzs finals last year.

Plus other things that I would consider stalling and poor sportsmanship. The TO sided with me on the Power Weapons right away but he still argued about it, even saying the TO was wrong. The biggest problem is the TO did not have the balls to throw him out. He even won the Tournament because of our game.
Ok that is just poor Tournament Organization. That TO should have been all over that guy and any game he played and your conceding the match to him should have been a red flag that something was seriously wrong.

@jbunny:
I (we, our FLGS) know of a Ard Boyz calibre cheater that used to come to our FLGS a few years ago (for tourneys) before OverWatch was a regular. He was good enough to finish high up on one of the 'Ard Boyz competitions. He shouldn't have had to cheat, but he does/did.

Seeing as it does our community good to police our own, be sure to out this guy at your LGS (*not* here on dakka; 'tis too large an audience and it may not reach intended people, that is, your local scene). Make sure the TO knows, ask the other players what they thought of him, etc. If enough people decline games, and the TO parks himself at his table, then maybe he cleans up his act, or more often, moves on.
