Furthermore, does one on one character combat like this even count as a challenge? I thought that only applied if a challenge was issued in unit vs unit combat...

Just learned this a couple days ago, for some reason i thought that you could have a magic helmet and armour.

My guess is yes. There seems to be quite a few of us having a good time with it, although Matt is doing all the work. Thanks again Matt. I would think anyone after the deadline, should keep their characters saved somewhere for the next time. I think it would be a pain to go through this thread to sort out the new characters for a new death match challenge.
