Basically it comes down to the theme of the army I guess. Mystic Warp Powers, Overwhelming tide of footslogging brutes, or disciplined lines of floating tanks blowing the crap out of things.

Or, they could just keep them in resin like some of them are now.

The complete absence of Nid love in this thread makes me sad. Seriously, Nids are competitive as long as you don't run Nidzilla (which has been dead for years now guys - seriously, stop trying it).

Eldar are outdated and have to try very hard to win compared to some of the newer armies. They require a very good understanding of the codex and good tactics to pull it out.
