And yet from what he's actually written, it is not the former that you have typed, is it?

Actually yes, he is not saying here have a look at these he is trying to paint a picture of a GW employee that just so happened to see a model and knew nothing about it so he felt the need to share it with the world. Not the former which once again would be plainly stating what he is doing.

There isn't a hint that he didn't know what they were. At all.

He sees them in the cabinet, and goes 'hey, that's the Direct Only stuff'.

Are we actually reading the same language here?

"I was in the Warhammer World store the other day picking couple of mail orders (new Orcs & Goblins - I caught the green bug) when I noticed a Goblin Warboss on Gigantic Spider and the Animosity Orcs in their cabinet. On closer inspection I realised that all of the models in the cabinet were Available to Order miniatures - ones that you can only get through the webstore or our terminals in store."

Aparently not...

Again, really not seeing it.

Where does it sugges that he had never seen said models before, and did not know what they were?

Oh. Silly me! It doesn't.

Still, guess you've got to have something to aimlessly complain about yes?

Actually Mr Mystery you assume wrong. I have some thing to complain about yes but you lump me in with the GW haters who are never happy. I have something to complain about because i see something wrong with a company i like and would like to see do well. As for this argument upon a re-read it very well may be a diffrence of english VS. U.S. english that leads me to read it this way.

I think the " Oh Wow!! Look at this!!" is implied.
But then again that's not uncommon of most advertising...it's contrived, but not uncommon.

I am both selfish and chaotic. I value self-gratification and control; I want to have things my way, preferably now. At best, I'm entertaining and surprising; at worst, I'm hedonistic and violent.
