Since I liked the brighter pink so much I fully painted two more guys and also touched up the other two using the new formula.

Also highlighted the black.

WOW. they look great. you show a lot of creativity and good conversion skills. i like it!

Today I worked on a display board for the army (fits all 32 models in my 1850 list!), as well as fixing the other guys to brign all the bases and their armor to a standard color.

It did not fit inside my light box, so I had to improvise. The drybrushing did not come out great on camera but I am not worried. One day I might move my lights over and take better pics.

(Only put my finished models on the board. Obviously I still got a ways to go before I am "done"...)

I love it all! I have 2 friends that play GK, one is a black armoured on the other ordinary, hehe, this makes me want to start the contradictory, Khorne Grey Kinghts

The gems are rather convincing. Maybe put a green wash to kind of glaze over the difference between the layers?

This is a really nice force, and your display base/storage work well. Looking forward to more.

So, I never liked my skin on my terminators. I have never done flesh before, and it shows.

Normally I like to put a little blue on my models and since their fellow terminators have blue eyes, blue skin seemed like it was worth a shot.

Then had to update my helmetless guys...



The highlights look more defined in the pics than in person, but not much. These guys had sores or lumps on their heads, so hit them with the GW: Baal Red too, but it blends together in the pictures. I need to get a grey background, or just be a better photographer.

I think they might be a little too blue, but at least their face no longer blends in with the armor. Perhapse instead of P3:Frostbite I should have used GW: Dheneb Stone. I like it then I turn around and I don't, then I do...

Also those 2nd edition faces are kinda boring. Maybe I should chop up some other heads and put them in instead. Sucks that those bodies are so small!
