Awesome Orks man. I've got nothing to criticize about them. I love the tone you've got going for the flesh and the rusty armor and weapons look fantastic.

Nice work, I like the brighter blue, contrasts well to the somewhat darker ork skin. I'd love to see how you did Deathskull face paint!

DW dude I do this too. You get faster as you go along. I can probably do a standard boy in about 5 now. It's worth it though I think.

You've definately got most of the basics down really well (and photography which is a surprise for a dakka user :p). You're going to be an excellent painter after a couple thousand more hours

Only tips I can think of at the moment:

Make the arms sit a bit more flush with the body.
I can't see for sure, but it looks like you havn't applied the same multiple highlights to the areas of black, like the boots. This can be done by building up greys.
Black boots + black base, make for the lower quarter of the molding blending together a bit. Unless you're going for a sneaky ork, make them stand out a bit more by using contrasting colours.

I dont mind how long it takes me, I'm self employed and it helps alot to take my mind off work.

As for the other bits, yea I noticed the arm stuck out a little bit, because it was a AOBR Ork I just stuck it on without glue while I painted it, so I must have knocked it slightly before taking the pic.

I'll also admit I havnt painted the boots yet... good spot! Struggling to find a good leather colour for clothes and boots for Orks, any pointers would be much appreciated.

Cheers for the help.

Hi5 for a fellow self employed, obsessively long painting dakka user!
