If you're in an apartment, set it up so that you can hand off the animals to a buddy through the window, then leave the cages, with some assorted feathers, in the hall. Enjoy!
Also, that's why you should always have duct tape with you.

Had not one...but two rolls in the trunk...just didn't think about it at the time.
Basicly the whole incident didn't worry me very much...I don't particularly care to be bothered by my neighbors anyway...and apparently the "big guy with all the tattoos was out here with a gun" story has circulated enough that they mostly tend to avoid me.

If you already have this reputation, screw around with their heads by playing with toy soldiers in the lobby with your friends. Next day, back to walking around with guns. After that, have public displays of you hanging out with your kids/ missus (can't remember if it's you or kc-I get you two mixed up), and so on and so forth until they are really confused.

I rarely wear a hat. My head and hair don't agree. They do however to proper leather cowboy style hats however. Those I like on the rare occasion I wear a hat.

I wear a black cowboy hat when I go out, it goes well with the black trenchcoat lol. The only times I dont wear a hat when I'm going out is if it is too windy as I hate chin straps and I'm far too lazy to chace my hat down the street or if I'm wearing my Vash the Stampede coat as it doesn't go with it. I also have a sombrero but have never had the chance to wear it sadly.

Currently, if i discount my uniform for work (the military loves making us wear headgear, its not a hat).. I wear my trusty, and well worn NY Yankees hat, or my Guinness Cabby hat, if one is worn at all. More commonly, I NEEEEEEVVVVVEEEEERRR leave the house without my sunglasses, and I really do mean never, I have a permanent indent on the sides of my head, complete with tan lines from how much i wear my sunglasses.
Back to the headgear for work thing though... I have been told a few times that I need to clean my patrol cap, but its perfect the way it is, and if i wash it, it'll ruin the thing. Ohh, and my last tour in Iraq, my Boonie Cap was a godsend.. Fething love those things!
