Well I kind of moved near Toronto, actually.

Thief is a stupid game. Otherwise looks cool. Actually it looks really cool especially if they make an expansion with more spells and stuff.

Also not a fan at the setting. Call me a steampunk snob, but it seems like the game is trying to ride the wave of the current steampunk fad without actually considering what it means to be steampunk... then again, that is true of most recent settings that are self defined as 'steampunk'.


How did Bioshock do that any better?

They just made a crappy copy of system shock and painted it with a steampunk brush.

This setting seems a lot more interesting to me TBH.

That said, I'm one of the people who think's Bioshock is absolute crap (brought it back to store after 2 hours of playing). So YMMV.

The stealth part alone makes this game more interesting for me.

I never said Bioshock did it better, I agree with you completely regarding the above.

Ah, I thought you were saying the opposite, my bad there then

As for the whole steampunk setting, I think steampunk is as broad a term as Sci-Fi and can't really be nailed down.
