Breotan, if you are going to use brake fluid or oven cleaner, be careful! Both of them are extremely toxic to people and animals. Also, many places have strict laws about disposal of things like that. A buddy of mine dumped some in his driveway once and got a huge fine from the city. And some pets will try and drink brake fluid if they can.

I can honestly say I had no intention of drinking the break fluid, nor feeding it to my neighbor's dog (no matter how tempting) so I think we're good.

I also had two primored figs that wouldn't strip. White primer, no idea who made it. Not a big deal. Grey base coat should should look the same after a wash and dry brushing anyway.
