Hey IK-Painter, i tried your method of mixing my paint, i had a few issues of paint flying out of the cup but nothing to serious, it seemed to work pretty well, this is def something i can see myself doing when i'm in a pinch

Most of the time when i mix internally i use an old brush that has been cleaned really well
