Janus turned from the view screen to see his large green, enforcer enter the bridge. The ork was dressed in heavy Armour. He had a multitude of crude bionics and had to stoop when he entered the bridge. " I was speaking to that pointy eared squishy as you called it, to negotiate a contract to as you would say go stomp some gitz. More specifically some really annoying orks who are actually helping us with gaining a greater profit than was originally estimated, i hear that a few mechanicum adepts want eldar tech and that they will pay allot to get it, so soon my orky friend we will be drowning in a sea of thrones and for you teeth. You may also be getting some boys, since it's boys well be, umm Krumping?"

He turned away from the ten foot tall xeno, and back to the view screen. The Eldar had removed her helmet. She was stunningly beautiful, he even saw Godri react to the sight of her face. " we will b-be there shortly madam."

"All combat personnel to the landers! Godri, Smashgutz, get Demus, Coraises, and our retinues ready in twenty minutes, all troops are to board Valkyrie 1. Godri shall take his tank and lander, my retinue and the rest of us shall be taking Valkyrie 2". His men stood around vacantly "what the hell are you waiting for!" they immediate began to bustle around.

OOC: if a reply is not made, and if i have deduced that your character is going to be inactive, i will do horrible things to them unless i need them. (Avondale, and Flame deamon.)

Demus, although he didn't seem like he was, was happy. His inhibitor hadn't been off since he last went off ship, now that it wouldn't affect the navigators he clicked it off. It was like he could breath again when before he had felt like he was choking. Undoubtedly his power would come to use as the Eldar were both powerful psychically, but also devious enough to turn on a deal. Some more psychically active Eldar like the farseer had feinted just by being in a room with him. The Orks on the other hand may be a problem. He would have to rely purely on his skills as a soldier to deal with them. Ah well, who really cares anyway, he thought taking a puff of his Iho stick.

With a deep chuckle of dark pleasure the massive ork said "So boss, either wayz I gets to smash some point ears, you want me to go with your meganobz(Space Marines) or do you want me to go with you Boss Slynt? Either way just speak to me through dem beads you like having in my ears, I'll be down getting me more dakka". Without thinking Kaptin Smashgutz tried going through the door smacking his head on the bridge doorway. With a roar of anger Smashgutz punched the the top of the door way denting it "Dat is da last time dat mocks me!".

Godri shot a glance at Janus as he walked back towards the lift. The Captain had been pushing his luck lately, and it was starting to get to him. Normally he would have just shrugged it off, he was a Dawi after all, but with Slynt talking to the Grobi about getting some more followers, and him wanting to keep the Elgi aboard, it was getting a bit harder to to roll over and ignore it. Boarding the lift Godri decided that he would have to have a word with the good Captain about the current situation.

Godri stepped off the glimmering lift and into the dark, although quite beautiful, quarters of the Squats. "You boys ready?" He called out, walking into the Squat's personally crafted Hanger-Bay. Orik ran over, "Everything's ready Lord, The Hammer is loaded and The Spirit ready to fly." Godri smiled, "Fantastic! Let's get flying then...."

Janus quickly traversed the distance between the bridge and the launch bay, with some assistance from the elevator. The battle forces of the Nova Firentis where gathered in the main launch bay. He stood befor his men "marines, you shall take Valkyrie 1, me smahgutz,Corsaies, and Demus along with my Retinue shall be using Valkyrie 2. Godri shall be taking his lighter and his tank as well. The thunderbolts will fly escort. we will be going in under fire" The marines saluted sharply, smashgutz roared along with the Valkyrie engines as they powered up.

OOC: all players who have not yet posted must post, or i will take complete control of their characters. You have until all other players who have posted at least once have posted their reactions to the breifing.

Any new members must RP themselves meeting with the captain if i post again and they have not yet joined, the meeting shall take place wherever the player wishes as long as my character is there.

Before Demus boarded his valkrie, he wanted a word with Godri. "I feel as if a level head may be needed to council the captain soon. Eldar I do not mind, but bringing large numbers of greenskins on board is asking for trouble. That one was bad enough an idea." Demus said with a puff of his Iho Stick. The Squat was one of the few people on the boat that wasn't disgusted in his presence, as his race wasn't very attuned to the warp. Although he would have prefered to always be in control of conversations he didn't mind the short one that much.

Kaptin Smashgutz knuckles went pale as he glared at Demus and growled at him"Oy wierdboy you gots a problem wif me? Da only reasons you'z still alive is da boss wont let me gets me claw around yer purdy he-" Realising the glares the Boss' bodyguards were giving him, Smashgutz shut his massive mouth and wrapped the impromptu rope of a safety harness around his waste. "Bloody wierdboyz...." Smashgutz muttered as 'Boss Slynt boarded the valkyrie

" Bring up the eldar connection again". The screen came to life before Janus's eyes. "have you considered our offer" the Eldar immediately asked. "help filthy Xenos, Hah!" the Eldars face registered shock then anger. "Filthy paying Xenos on the other hand, well i would be delighted. I require Three things. One custody of that pretty little Farseer" the Eldar attempted to stutter out a reply" Two an ork Nobs weight in your tech,and i know how light it is, and finally what i originally came here for the imperial Relics stored on this world, you have ten seconds to respond" The Eldar stuttered a little more then the Farseers face appeared again "yes" she said quietly but firmly. "What is it you want us to do?" "get us out"

"Great just great an eldar psyker onboard."Cornelius told himself.He recalled the time when the xenos experimented on him,he was too young to remember their faces ,but those cold eyes and those pointy ears he could remember those anywhere.His eyes turned to a bright red colour just as he heard that the battle forces should assemble at the docks. A thought blinked through his head that he could ask the captain to accompany the farseer just to keep an eye on her and to get used to being close to the untouchable. Firefights were nothing new to him so he didn't think he'd be a burden on this journey.

"Ah hell more things to shoot and kill, though helping them damnable Xeno's is a first" thought Corasies as he did a pre-check of his boltgun. "Yep definetaly a first, though I don't like it, helping them conspiring Eldar, always playing their mind games, though I'm probably sure the feeling mutual, oh well a job is a job." "Hey Captain! I'm all loaded and ready fer combat, anyone who needs their gun checked now better come ova here to get me to check before we depart!" Corasies yelled to all those nearby.

Captain Janus seeing that all of his forces where ready for launch began reciting the litany of redemption, taught to him by a sororitas he once met. He had made it mandatory for the crew to learn it and so through out the ship men worked as they whispered the prayer. Janus activated his vox bead and allowed his voice to ring out through the comms system, he may help xenos and keep them on his crew but he was still a devout follower of the emperor. The Valkyrie pilots knew this was the signal for launch. They screamed out of the launch bay as the large, engraved blast doors opened. The ships flew out leaving long glittering vapor trails behind them. The vast blackness of space surrounded them, the stars winking at them through the portholes. An alarm screamed aboard the Nova firentis.

"Captain Janus, this is comms officer Zannt please respond" "Janus here what is it Zaant" the officer panted a little "there is an ork frigate heading to your position. What are your orders" janus frowned "Raise shields and engage with extreme prejudice, Kill them all. Keep them off of our backs nova" "Yes sir"

The Valkyries moved into assault formation with Godris Lighter. They where ready to go into evasive maneuvers at any moment. The Nova firentis moved towards the enemy ship like an hawk to a vole. The large lance batteries seared out and sliced large slices of hull from the ship. somehow it held together. Janus watched as his ship came around this time to give the enemy a taste of it;s macrocannons. the orks where replying with macro cannon fire that simply bounced off of the shields of the Nova. The novas cannons roared silently blasting more chunks from the ork vessel. The orks still managed to hold together. The gunnery sergeant obviously sick of the orks launched a torpedo. The ork vessel exploded in a flash of blue and purple. The shock wave rocked the strike craft slightly but not to badly.

The small assult vessels continued on. They entered the atmosphere of the world, thier hulls turning cherry red. The ships came out of there entry formation and began to head to the LZ marked by the Eldar. Ork rokkits drifted up at them but where avoided. A multitude of small arms fire pinged off of the hull. Then things got interesting, the orks had a looted hydra battery on the ground near the LZ. The flak round blossoming in black flowers. A few skillful manuvers from the pilots ensured that no damage was done.

A few minutes later they where at the LZ. "LZ is hot sir" reported the pilot, as he and the other Valkyrie pilot opened fire wit there anti personnel autocanons. A looted Leman rush tank sat in the middle of the LZ but was quickly dealt with by a few missiles. The ships landed and the troops got out finishing off the orks. The teams got out to see what there was to see.

When the Valkyrie finished slicing throught the Atmosphere Smashgutz' ripped his makeshift rope harness off and grabbed his shoota's and leaned out the side hatch into the howling wind. Seeing what the Warboss called "The LZ" Kaptin Smashgutz prepared to leap out when a bolter round grazed his monstrous shoulder leaving a streak of torn flesh. "YOU'Z GONNA PAY FOR DAT YOU FOUL GITS!!!!" Smashgutz howled furiously at the orks that were ineffectively pouring fire on the rapidly moving valkyrie. Seeing that the LZ was less then 500 meters away. With a bloodcurdling howl of "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!!!!"Smashgutz flung himself from the Valkyrie onto a rather unfortunate boy and started pouring fire into the onrushing horde of orks. With his shoota's he reaped an unholy toll upon the ranks of the boyz, however one unfourtunate 'Ard Boy managed to close and before he could swing his battered choppa Smashgutz' power klaw replaced his head with a fine red and pink mist. Realising his vulnerable position Smashgutz proved his races inherent bloodthirst by dropping his shootas, grabbing the metal man axe and rushed into the horde of boyz cleaving left and right howling with glee.

As the he lumbered out of the Valkyrie, Corasies scanned what once was a hot LZ. "Hmmm the main part of this mob here were scores of boys, couple tank busta's, a few nobz, and the blasted tank" Corasies thought to himself, "No exactly the main group of the Waaaagh!, Hell I have a bad sense of foreboding for the rest of the missio- Crap!" as he tripped of the body of a greenskin.
