@Makhoy - Banshees really ahve no real use against Tau, sinc the only thing that has decent armor is Crisis suits or Broadsides, both or which don't come in mass numbers.

For anti-tau you need:
- Wave Serpents: Suddenly their rail guns become a non-melta melta and that coupled with their hit ratios neuters them a bit.
- Scatter Lasers: Side Armor shots on the Devilfish in volume to counterbalance their cover saves and vomue wounds against crisis suits.
- Fire Dragons: To pop those hammerheads or broadsides.
- Volume Fire or Large Blasts: To clean up.

Do not bother with foot units vs them unless it's jetbikes because the Tau will just out range you. Those 5 DA without a Serpent will only be a liability.

tedurur, what would you do with the 5 DA's? Put them in the Falcon?

Yes, the DAs go in the Falcon along with the Seer. He can sit back and and guide either the Falcon or the Walkers

I have a question regarding the first post's list. Would you consider the Twin-Linked Bright Lances on the Wave Serpent to be too expensive? Have you had any success with Bright Lances on Wave Serpents? Do they really perform any good? Because they sure suck up a lot of points...
