Driving 10 hours from Waddy, KY on Wed. evening/thursday morning to attend this awesome event!!...I am bringing DAEMONS...sorry no pics...just finished some last minute touchups last evening and they are safely packed away already...I will be looking for a team to join for the Team tourney...I would prefer to meet some chaps/chappettes on Thursday and make a team, but otherwise will just register as an individual...hope to put some names to faces while I am there...My tee's will be black with skulls...different colors for different days...peace and safe travels to all...Thanks ahead of time to Mike and the Whiskey Crew...

I'm going to try and be there for a while on Friday for some open gaming, depends on whether I can start and finish my display board today and tomorrow along with getting some decals and rust on a couple last models.
My Death Korp will be making their first fully painted appearance!

We're keeping an eye on the forecast. Irene is due to brush the coast but all we're forecast for is rain and some wind on Sat PM and Sun. The forecast keeps getting pushed back too.

I'm pretty sure it'll either veer off into the Atlantic or die down by the time it gets up there. The water is so much cooler that far up the coast that'll lose strength quickly.

I assume everyone will 'be there' by time the hurricane hits. Once inside the Hotel, I don't really care if it is rainy out. I guess you could ask people to bring flash lights in case we have to play in the dark!

Storm could potentially be bad if have to carry armies and display boards in heavy rain but otherwise I'm hearing it should hit Carolinas and not be so bad for VA.

I'm bringing Blood Angels, weather permitting. Coming from NJ, which might be a problem coming home on Sunday night as it looks like the storm will be tracking North as I drive home. I've been building, painting, and anticiapting this one all year, but I dont think I can leave my family if the hurricane is going to be hitting. What a pisser...

Not bad unless you live in the Carolinas. Been watching this closely; still hoping it's patch will skirt the coast (hopefully miss it) and keep going northeast. Otherwise, may be out this year....bummer.

Sarigar, we're keeping a close tab on it, chatting w/ the local meteorologists, etc - expectation for most of Carolinas and def Virginias is rain and wind. The worst of it will be when we're all inside gaming.
