Thats why i always pick the salamanders as they follow their belief of "The strong ahll protect the weak"

I've had 4 space marine armies in the past all sold now and out of the 4, 3 were salamanders with the remaining being space wolves because they respect those that fight by their side and stand their ground to protect the weak.

I've also read the book helsreach and have to agree with what some say about the black templars there, they were stationed there to defend the city and it's population but during some battles they showed that it was more important to aggressively fight the enemy rather than save or protect the citizens that they were there to defend in the first place. The samalanders were the direct opposite as they opted for a more defensive tactic to keep the civilians safe.
