Can't stand Michael Bay, would rather have Peter Jackson or Steven Spielberg as the director.

Starship troopers is up there for me, also I'd like to see a better Dune movie, a better 20,000 Leagues under the Sea movie, and a true to the book War of the Worlds film. (Set in the 1800s)

Also The Odyssey would make an awesome movie if they did it right and made it epic and loooong. Redwall movie would be great as well, though I would rather not see one at all than for one to be simplified and stupid.

Also I would say "The Forever War", but I think a movie is already in the works for that one.

At least he would get the proper amount of war and explosions in there.

The thing is don't even like how Michael Bay does action scenes fast-moving bad camera angles that are constantly blurring make it hard to focus on the action, because of this I have no clue what's going on.

Meaning I don't know if the protagonist is in danger of if he/she is winning, it's just hard to be excited about something when your mind isn't given enough time to focus on the images and think about the scenes.

Twilight Saga...

Except directed by James Cameron, so that the vampires and wherewolves would die in explosions and gunfire coming from mech walkers all piloted by Sigourney Weaver and Lance Henriksen, and blue people with bow and arrows shooting at tanks while getting covered in napalm.

No no no no no... a 40k movie should only be directed by Guy Ritchie.

It's not a movie, but I wish they would make season 3 of Carnivale... too much of a cliffhanger to end the series in season 2.

Duke Nuke'em.. the Musical.

I'd also like to see a Castlevania movie, but only if it was done right.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Excerpt from "Seeress of Kell", Book Five of The Malloreon series by David Eddings.

A good C'thulu movie would top my list. And 'Dagon' dosnt count. I wanna see the big daddy himself.... Or a movie version of Clive Barkers 'Undying' would be sweet, I just bought it dirt cheap and had forgotten how much of a great game it is.....

Mine would be..

Halo - damn Hollywood for not green lighting Peter Jackson, because they 'didn't get' the idea Master Chief COULDN'T take off his helmet in the film.

World of Warcraft - posibly incoming, still waiting for 100% proof, as Rami seems to have moved elsewhere.

Gi Joe - that doesn't shred most of the backstory, *cries at Baroness/Duke storyline* Although the 2nd apparently will have Firefly in it, so some hope yet. *Optimistic Fool face*

World of Darkness, Vampire the Masquerade or Werewolf the Apocalypse - unlikely now, unless the MMO becomes a huge smash.

Batwoman - would be nice to see a film set in the DC universe focused around a female character that didn't suck.. I'm looking at you Berry!

"That's not an Ork, its a girl.." - Last words of High General Daran Ul'tharem, battle of Ursha VII.

I read the Alex Garland script for Halo had some great character beats, made gravemind seem pretty cool and had a human trooper call Master chief an 'inhuman Freak' ( a thematic element which i thought was severely lacking in the games)

Movies of The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind, simply because the Legend of the Seeker TV series is only watchable if you haven't read the books; after you read the books, the fact they had to make every episode into a different adventure is its ultimate downfall, because it strays so far from the story that it almost hurts.

Films would, in my opinion, do the books better justice than a TV series that has to have a different story each episode; imagine what LotR would be like if it were a TV series...

The only downside is that there are 11 books in the SoT series, and whilst some bits can be cut loose because they're largely unimportant, it still leaves a very large chunk of story that has to be shoved into a film. LotR works only because it's a 3-book series (not counting the Hobbit etc.), but 11 films at around the same running times of the LotR films... Even condensed, they'd be horrifically long.
