Yeah SC is alright it's a good game but the fanboys are so damn annoying. The multiplayer is just boring for me, it's to much like a big fething math problem and is to much about micro management. Dow2 is so much more fun, it focuses on the actual fun part of rts games...battles.

As for the topic. If I was disappointed with the first game I never buy the follow up. I got the first assassins creed and didn't like it all that much, never bought the sequels, which are supposedly way better.

Edit: oh yeah and I'm usually not that disappointed about mediocre game considering I buy them on steam for 5 buck

Starcraft mulitplayer is good IMO, but the community is terribly too competitive. I was still in the practice league and I had my teammate screaming over the mic for me 2 quit out so he can take control of my guys.....He quit, and I won the game like a boss.

You seem to be playing different games to me, I despise the CoD games put out by infinity ward yet rather enjoy Treyarchs contributions.

Yeah after CoD4 they kind of became uninspired. they just kept redoing what the previous game did so they could make money. I don't think they are bad games but they get a lot of undeserved praise IMHO.

Dunno, I wasn't impressed. But then again, the new cover-based style of FPS games really hasn't been perfected yet, not like the old quake fragfest style.

Killzone 2 and 3 do it pretty damn well, but its not part of multiplayer, only campaign.

If I had to say one did it best so far, I'd say Rainbow 6 Vegas 2, definitely. Though I haven't played its multiplayer aside from co-op...

Multiplayer is fantastic, Mel. I have it for my Xbox (The PC version is better, IMHO, but the Xbox comes in at a close second, and allows me to do local co-op) and I can still find games.

Damn straight. I own each and every CoD game and looking back, the most fun was easily United Offensive. Great campaign, wonderful maps for multiplayer, beautifully simple weapons, tanks that skilled people on foot could handle, Capture the Flag, Base Assault, Domination. Good times.
