@Deadshot. I think the close ranged volleying is a good idea. It sounds good fluff-wise, and that i guess gives Tau the last stance kind of thing. Also,
GK's have that many grenades to pay off for their lack of range, and their high cost per unit..... It generally costs over 1000pts to have a decent, playable army while other armies can for 500 min.
