Also the rule is you cannot spread wounds around - arguably no matter what, if you spread wounds around you ARE avoiding casualties, even if you dont pass sufficient wounds around at that point you are avoiding a future casualty.

At least now I know about what you meant about 'lose wounds from their profile'.

But your thinking seems to indicate that you don't apply all wounds suffered simultaneously, but in some sort of sequential order?

Yep, its the bit that biccat is ignoring - that "as noted above" can ONLY refer to the requirement to alter a models profile

You cannot apply all wounds suffered simultaneously, as you have to do a "ID" check on each wound - applying them simultaneously would result in you missing this.

I just want to point out the example given on pg 26, Units of multiple wound models. (I'm going to sum up very briefly)

Unit of 4 Ork Nobz, 3 identical ("A", "B", "C"), 1 upgraded weapon ("D"). Unit takes 9 wounds allocated as follows:

A - 3 wounds
B - 2 Wounds
C - 2 Wounds
D - 2 Wounds

7 saves are taken for group 1 (A,B,C), 3 failed.
(Here's the important part)
He cannot put a single wound on each Nob, but must remove one model as well as recording that one normal Nob has suffered a wound.

I don't see anywhere does it say that the wound floats around until the normal Nobz take another wound. You MUST record that one has lost a wound.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Yep, because the "record as above" refers to the general rules for multiple wound models, which directly refers to the wound being lost from their profile.

if there are 12 wounds and 12 models there should be a save for each model no matter the ic's or equipment

Erm, yes, there will be a save per model. This has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with this question, however

You record that one (generic) Nob has lost a wound. You do not record that a specific Nob has lost a wound. When that unit next suffers unsaved wounds you must remove one whole Nob.

The whole "as noted above" part just tells you to use a marker, write down on a piece of paper, or otherwise indicate that there's an additional wound.

Actually, you do. See the example I even quoted a few posts ago. They explicitly talk about the wounded nob and the unwounded nob. Obviously no floating wound between them.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.

Sorry, please actually provide some rules to back your position - given i've proven you wrong now twice it would be a good start.

"as noted above" tells you that a multiple wound model has lost a wound from ITS profile. Not anyone elses, no "floating wound", nothing like that at all. You have absolutely zero support for your error filled contention otherwise.

there are only 2 ways that I think where multi wound equiped the same models in a unit can take separate wounds and that is DT tests and PoW.
