Looking really good, did you have issues with the legs, as i found it really difficult to pose mine properly. its fine now fortunatly. Love the sculpting, waiting for painted pics

The only issue I had was the tilting, and the fact its hip ball joint broke clean in half while trying to untilt it. Other then that I had more issues with the arms trying to position them.

Oh I also have a few minor things to fix for after priming it the problems jumped out and yelled here we are. So once those are fixed I'll actually get to painting the first one

Well I got started on one of my many other projects and decided I wanted to do more with this dread so starting off some additions to the base. Oh please forgive my weathering its actually my first time ever using pigments.

OK after I did the first part of the bases sentinel I started to make the sentinel recognizable from an ig regiment. I picked the cadian 88th as the sentinels.

Most highlights were covered or hidden by weathering effects the pigments worked a little better then I thought plus the flashing step was difficult without a spraybottle

OK here's the progress so far though tomorrow I have business to take care of so I'll try my best to have finished Saturday. The helmet was a whole pain in the rear...... especially the attempt and sad fail of a sacrifice of a fw black legion dread head

I love your green stuff work but don't like the pose of the model, the fists look like the dreadnought is doing jazz hands.

I really like it, but it does make getting effective cover much harder. Oh well, the Night Lords aren't about cowering behind shrubbery, are they?

Well ran into a wall, before I got out of the navy I lended some of my paints to a buddy of mine who also got out a little after me. Was supposed to drop my paints off but must've got to drunk that or had already drank most his braincells away awhile ago but Joe bob( not his real name) took them to Kansas with him. That sad thing is it was all my reds, my orange and several other colors......till I get money I have to do what I can on this project but I won't be able to finish it.

While I'm waiting for the paints I needed I decided I wanted to try something with my fw bone dust pigment and the mk VI contempt or helm.

Oh I have a question any good ideas for what I should paint on the banner? I'm thinking torture device of some sort since the idea behind this dread especially since its fists are red meaning this particular dread is for punishment of those lord niall wants to suffer until he finally has utterly no need for them. So please if anyone has any good ideas I'd greatly appreciate it.

I've begun the more stressing details along with shading though for now I'm going to try and refrain from doing the lighting effect for the flamethrowers till I've gotten the actual spouts to actually make it shooting

The helmet looks like it needs another layer of bone or so. Try taking pictures further away or getting a white box to take the picture in will also cut down on the amount of flash that goes through the paint.

I like the contemptor, have one myself which is still in the process of bring world eaters a fied, love the use of greenstuff for the wings.

Its supposed to look like that its not like the dread can paint the skull on its own. And I was going for an effect of bone being mixed with water then smeared on the helmet in the image of a skull.
