This is no"hard right2 view, this is a view that many liberal scholars (Dan Dennet and Sam Harris spring to mind) take, and I agree with them. The fact that many Muslims are perfectly nice people (most infact) doesnt mean that we should bend over backwards to accomadate a way of life that worships a book, that says right there in black and white, that women are less important than men.

Go read the Koran, then come back and tell me that people worshipping a very old book hasnt got "danger" written all over it.

Dont worry though, Im an equal opportunities hater, I dislike any and all people that let very old books cloud their common sense and rational judgement.

Well good news is the riot squads were dispatched to the ones around Sydney anyway. They waited till dawn then raided their camps, bypassing council which is probably what's delaying it over there by enacting some law about camping there.

Even though im not a Christian, I think St Pauls is a marvellous building. My brother went to the capital yesterday and rang me to inform me that a huge number of foul smelling miscreants had camped outside the cathedral and forced its closure.
