Whats the name of the warhammer convention where people dress up and stuff? Is that games day or what?

This thread, makes me trololol.

I agree with Amaya, however, it IS rather funny that most of the women dress up in as revealing as possible, even though they're actual costume is gak.

Also Corpses, is her family like rich or something because that costume looks expensive to make or did she hand-make it?

I like how showing pictures of 10-15 women that showed up at a con, of which probably made up less than 10% of all women that showed up, somehow makes them representational of all women.

Or the fact that showing any appreciation towards a woman's appearance makes you a pervert.

She handmade it from little things from costume shops, charity shops and general craftiness

Lots of it is documented on her Vlogs.

Or the fact that showing or vocalizing any sort of restraint automatically makes you a prude or indicates that you are obviously into the same sex. The coin flips both ways and frankly I grow sick of it...

So yeah, the costumes themselves are awesome...looks like they put a lot of work and money into them.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

If it was a dude in the COSTUME I doubt it would be getting the same amount of attention. The skin is the big sell here; let's not delude ourselves.

There's nothing wrong with not being as expressive about your sexuality, but when people try to clamp down on others for showing a bit of lust that's where I draw the line (unless it's in a situations where

showing lust would be inappropriate like at an elementary school full of kids or something).

I was going to make one of my trademark comments.

Then even I decided that there were lines designed to not be crossed.

My argument is not against people who openly appreciate the fairer sex, my argument is against people who bully others when they choose not to do so publicly. But I do agree, people shouldn't be so presumptuous as to call out others for voicing their preferences as long as, like you said, its done in the appropriate environment...

Its an argument with two sides...there's an equilibrium in it somewhere...

Yeah both behaviors are really uncalled for, just because some guy doesn't want to describe some hot chick's breasts in vivid detail amongst his buddies doesn't mean he's a homosexual.

I'm also sort of wondering if Amaya thinks the clothes should be the focus, and not the body they're on.

That seems a bit consumerist to me.

The one above was last year. The one I think she's done best was this one in 2009.

Although I'm a huge fan of Valeera, who she was dressed as.

OK... just a few questions:

Do they make or BUY hose costumes?

When do you think AUS will host one of these and when will it reach a scale that attracts ladies of the calibre of Jo Jo Chen?
