The next one of you that posts about Wraiths being I2 and ignores the whip coils mentioned 2000 times a week, and I am going to devote the rest of my life to becoming an ancient space god to trick and enslave a race, and turn them into soulless T-100s to rid the entire universe of life. At that point it will have been worth it.
Had this song playing on my mp3 last night while I was skimming through the GW site, watching the new minis. Not very necron-related but it got stuck in my mind since then.
War does not determine who is right - only who is left.
Hi everyone, I'm new to Dakka and this is my first post here. I have played necrons ever since I started 40K in 2006. They are my first, and currently only army, so the new codex is welcome, even though it will take some getting used to. I'm still reading through it, work has been keeping me busy. I've listened to the music you all have posted so far, and they are all good choices, but I do have my favorites, among them, but not the only ones, the one that someone mentioned they imagined for a necron fire line and the one from Command and Conquer. Anyway, here are three choices that I imagine for necrons. Not perfect fits, but close enough.
The first two, I think fits the general feel for necrons, and what other armies might perceive them as.
The last one I imagine a currently desolate desert where an ancient necrontyr dynasty once ruled in ages past, and now a tomb world is coming back to life there millions of years later, and what a newly awakened overlord might be thinking.
