It's Worglock. He hates all the people complaining about GW almost as much as he hates every producer of tabletop miniature wargames that isn't GW.

Actually no. I quite like Battletech.

Worglock, a friendly suggestion, you might want to apply a filter between what you think and what you type.

Again, it's Worglock. Read his post history. He really doesn't care what anyone here thinks of anything (with some possible exceptions that I may be unaware of...just to cover my ass before he trots out some example, like he did with my last post ).

Warhammer 40,000 IS NOT ABOUT PLAYING A GAME.

And you've already lost me.

I don't get why it always has to be one or the other, why you have to choose between playing the game or modeling, when the whole point is you can do both. I'm tired of being preached to and told I shouldn't be getting into 40k because I want to play a game, when if there was no game you can bet your ass there wouldn't be any 40k hobby to get into in the first place.

And before someone tries to argue and say that was Horst's point, read the last line of his post. 40k is only for people who have money, like the fluff, or like painting. If you like playing the game then you're doing it wrong, apparently.
