Yeah, it passes...mostly.
My Husky was like a part of me...traveled with me, she was like my " buddy" for over 8 years...so it took a long while to get over loosing her, but now I just enjoy memories of fun times we had...same as with folks I've lost I suppose.

Its never easy for me...I've had many pet dogs in the past but there's always one or two that really stand out because they click with you...

Took me a long time to get over the death of my Basset Hound a while back...never was the same...

I'd post pics but all of them are on my old comp which I don't have access too right now...

Yes his teeth are pointy, very much so. Here he is eating an arm I tossed to him.

Had to put my dog down this afternoon.

She was 13 and was increasingly dealing with medical issues, hadn't been eating, unable to walk all that well, and eyes and hearing was questionable. She was in pain doing even the simplest activity, couldn't walk down stairs, etc.

It sucked...

Thanks.

Saddest thing tbh: our other dog has been walking around the house as if looking for her for the past hour or so...

Meet Jasper and Asta (her official name is Sun Shangrila (Tibetan)... was sunny for short, but it sounded too much like the slovak command for "sit" so... had to change that). He's north american and she's european.

the old one is 11, the young one almost 11 months... I think the old one has about a year and a half left... maybe a year, not so sure.

I was about to tell you your dog must have been a hard find when I realized your little flag says youre out of the UK.

My old one was a hard find, because the most of the ones that are here are degenerate (oversized, skulls with the wrong shape and hair that hangs the wrong way) The little is out of europe. Oddly enough, the difference in cost for a breeding quality puppy out of europe as opposed to one local was negligible. And besides, the vast majority of the ones from here are..... well.. ugly and degenerate. We're still debating whether we want to stud old Jasper...

Wow, there are some beautiful animals on here I quite like the collies they're beautiful and of course the black Lab is always a winner! well, I suppose I should show you the Nerd Hounds! they follow me everywhere, especially Oscar, he's absolutely my big boy! he'd follow me through hell and back that dog would, without complaint, and Issabella is totally the biggest princess in the house, she's my partners 'baby' sad thing is Issabella's attitude is very much that she's the lady of the house! except this lady has a problem with stretching, burping and farting everyday! not very ladylike!

Issabella:

And now my boy Oscar:

Well, there they are! I hope you enjoy the 'kids' as much as I do! they are such great dogs, and we love them to bits! I couldn't cope without them!

@ Nerdfest09

yeah... yeah... the females will act like queens of the house. I find it interesting that my older dog won't even lift his head to see whats going on in the neighbors back yard, but the little one will be upset at the first instance of anything going on, and try to "restore order".
