I would say that the cheapest and easiest to manage of all armies are the Tau, without a doubt. Low model count, almost all plastic/ finecast, and better pricing.

Last I checked it was somewhere around 40$ for a box of ten marines. However, theyve got low model counts and high point cost, so theyre not half bad.
