I have got a predator tank I still need to do. I also have an attack bike and one more biker to finish to make a 3 biker squad. I have a dreadnought about 40% painted. I want to get a land speeder just haven't looked for one yet to buy. Other than that the army is close to being done. I'm looking to get a legion of the damned squad also, but thats about it.

Well yesterday I went on search for some of the foam that is mentioned in the how to guide of making a lava table for some creative bases. I didn't feel like spending almost 15 bucks on a foam piece that was huge and then still have to get the wire cutter. So I went to Michaels and found a sceneary making kit came with plaster, some paint and a mold. It was a rock making kit so I decided to get it and made 6 rocks and I have used 3 so far. I added some of the GW static grass to the rocks in areas grass would probably grow in the wild. I started with my devastator squad. The heavy bolter is complete, the lascannon needs a wash and highlights, and the serg needs his pack with auspex complete t be done.

Well tonight I got a lot done. I finished the wash and highlights on my lascannon marine, and I finished up the auspex pack for the serg and got them all on some pretty cool bases now. I hope to have the squad done this next week. I'm still waiting on the plasma cannon to get here, and I have a heavy bolter and about 60% of the missile marine done. So the odds are in my favor. Hopefully on saturday I can get a game to use them in. I haven't played in about a year so i'm pretty rusty, but I think I have my tactics down pat. Well here is the dev squad so far.

Well a couple days of just taking my time I finished up my plasma cannon marine for the squad.

Well tonight I finished up my 5th devastator. So that means I have a full squad if the need arises to use them in battle So to add to the mix I added a missile marine I haven't put together the other heavy bolter yet. We'll see If I get that together soon. I have a lot left to finish up my army. I also have some dark angels on the way. Been reading the second space wolf omnibus and they sound like a cool chapter so thought I might start that next slowly. Well here is the last member of the devastator squad.

Well haven't been painting much been working on bases and working on getting parts together for a dark angels army. But hold on tomorrow the hell benders hit the battlefield against an unknown enemy. It is going to be either Space Wolves which I'm not looking forward to if it is, or Daemons which I would love to just kill. We are going for a 1250 game which was hard to muster up the stuff I wanted to take since I have so much I can choose from. So I end up taking

So wish me luck hope it works out well since I'm not taking any armour except for the dread. Hopefully the dev squad can take on any armour that may show up on the field. I have rocket in each tactical squad so that might work too. oh and alittle suprise orbital bombardment because of my hq.

Well you will all be glad to here this My Hell Benders had a very good conflict today against the Space Wolves today. They came out on top with flying colors.

I got first turn and dropped behind his only units at the time which was his greyhunters and vindicator. the rest where in reserve unlike all my units where on the table except my drop pod with dread. I quickly got locked into action with the grey hunters after my turn they assualted they managed to blow it up and move on, but they forgot about the pod which managed o take a few out as they ran across the field to join which would come on later the rest of the pack. I did manage to immoblize and destroy the vinicator gun early w/ the dev squad making it useless. My attack bike was locked into a gun fight with the scouts, it only took one wound from the squad, but managed to take out 3 snipers leaving just one sniper and a heavybolter.

One tactical squad which calgar was attached to got flanked by the reserved bloodclaws and drop pod the tactical squad got wiped out, but before calgar was finally killed he managed to kill 11 of 15 blood claws single handedly. So leaving only a couple grey hunters running to regroup with the pack was killed off by all my units shooting at them since I couldn't shoot at the blood claws because of them being locked in assault. So leaving only a dread and 4 bloodclaws and 2 scouts we called it since I had to run to make an appointment and me having so much left on the table. I still had a full 10 tactical squad, a full 5 term squad, a full 5 scout squad, a full 5 dev squad and the attack bike still going. Would have been hands down a defeat at that point. It was a great battle between my friend, to bad it had to be between Units that shared, the same cause, but space marines have faught each other before in the other worlds just a miss understanding between both sides. Which ended up in my favor.

Well decided to post up some pictures of the army that defeated the wolves and the chapter so far. Top photo is the Squad that killed off the wolves.

Well My friend is going to start playing over at the house so we need to make some terrain so I started tonight this is my first try at a big rock I made a custom mold out of tin foil then stacked on some other rocks I molded and plastered them together.

Well I traded some painting services of my own for a friend, who gave me a space wolves lot. I started busting out some bloodletters for him, and here they are finished about 3 in an hour in a half. He assembled them he just wanted me to paint so thats all i'm doing.

Looking good! I see your painting is improving. And congrats on the beating Space Wolves!

Cool name for a chapter!

Thanks both of you for looking, good to see people checking out the chapter. Yea the space wolves battle was awesome this weekend I think we are going to play again. I think he is going to use Chaos marines this time. I'll be sure to get photos of the battle this time. Well I started on the 2nd squad of blood letters for my friend since I got the first one done. I'm doing different colored flames for squads, so I went with Green flames for this squad the next will be blue. Also I started my Dark angels but because of me painting the daemons I have to put them on the back burner for now, But here are the pics.





Dark Angel

Well I have been busting out some bloodletters like a mad man. I'm doing 5 in about an hour and a half which is good considering the detail on the swords and all the highlighting. So I have gotten 2 full squads of 10 done one more to do then on to daemonettes.







Bad Day for the Dark Angel

Well I decided to take a break on blood letters and see what scheme I was going to use and how difficult the daemonettes were going to be. So I painted one up. The colors for the flesh were picked by my friend, I get to pick clothes and hair color. So this is what the outcome is.

I love it. All of it.

Well my friend and I got another game together on Friday afternoon I got a couple pictures of start of the game, but was so into it I forgot to keep taking pictures. It was a objective game with 3 objectives on the table, and it was also Dawn of war. I won the roll to start, but gave it to my friend because I went first last time. So he deployed no Hq or troops for the start I on the other hand put out a sniper squad and a tactical squad next to the objective on my side with My Hq which has all the same stuff as Calgar.

From left to right this is his deployment of tau. He didn't have to hammerheads so the vindicator is another hammerhead.







well I started taking out his guys trying to flank on the left. They failed leadership like 4 times and fell back to the objective by his side, but over time they almost fell off the board.
on picture 3 on dropped my drop pod with a dread there. Not sure if it was right, but he walked past to hit rear armor. and destroyed it. from there it was mostly just shooting across the map to take out troops. I made multiple squads of his loose leadership because of casualties. At turn 5 it was 1 to 1 with the last objective in the middle not being taken, but on turn 6 which we didn't get to I was less than 6 inches from the middle objective so I would have taken it since I was movement on the bottom of the turns. All in all a great game.

Well tonight I finished up 4 more daemonettes that I'm painting up for trade. So here they are.

Well today I got some magnets in the mail so I can start magnetizing stuff. Also I got started on my friends 3rd squad of blood letters. I also placed an order to games workshop for some dark angel stuff since the local one didn't have what I wanted. So here are the blood letters with now blue flamed power swords.

I am liking those swords there.

Well I spent A few minutes ok like 30 doing some magnet stuff to my predator tank. The first to pictures are of each side of the tank with the magnets, and then I put a heavy bolter on one side and a lascannon on the other just to show that I can now change my load out when need be.

I like the magnetising work you've done there. Very neat. The Bloodletters look really smart too. Nice work mate!

Well been out of the game for awhile once spring hits models go to the way side, and motorcycles is that till around now when the weather starts getting nasty. I still ride just not out like I am in the nice weather. Anyways my winter hobby season has commenced, and I picked up right where I left off on my dark angel grand master. I did some touch up work from being in storage and started on the power sword last night and should be done with it in the next day or so.

Well I would have finished him on the 3rd of Oct, but what happens to glue over a break from all of this? It dries out so I had to make a run yesterday to get glue and some stuff. Got it all done and washed up. Not finishing the base yet because I'm gonna wait until I get all my angels done to do them all at once. So now I have 2 angels done and a great start to the chapter. What better way to start off the chapter than start with the grand master.
