Not bad I havent used the torment grenade launchers yet so it would be interesting to do. Especially with all 3 raiders being close together dropping them off. Could be brutal if someone lost combat by a couple than had all three of those. Instead of LD 9 they would be at LD 4. Hello sweeping advance lol. I would prob drop the grisly trophies for some aerosails on the raiders just so I could get into there face faster but those are my only suggestions

Yeah you could switch out the grislys but you don't really need the aerosails on venoms, actually with a vehicle moving 24" you selfdom need it at all.

LOL no aerosails on the raiders to get the grots and BB's to combat faster, since moving 24 in you cant get out or shoot anyways for 5 points a pop now I can move 26 - 36 in that first turn

Well you have done something terrible in deployment if 24" movement turn one and 12" + 3" deployment and 6" assault wont be enough.

Therefor having reroll on all morales for the warriors is far superior due to they only have LD 8. This way you will have a much better chance staying at objectives late in the game.

I was thinking it might be interesting if there were footsloggers on the table to tank shock or ram them on the first turn. Depending on the mission with aerosails its possible lol

Hmm. But if you are immob or better with the DoG then your squad inside dies first turn with the vehicle..

I think you are supposed to ram AFTER you drop of the contents safely and/or your weapon is destroyed. You don't really need the sails.

I like the idea of the lists though, may also try it.

Yeah you shouldnt pay to be able to tank shock over the board turn one. You are alot better off with having the reroll morale on your troops cause face it this is how it goes down.

in turn 3-5 you move up 12" with the venom and disembark into cover with the warriors to fire away at something thats threatening you and needs to be handled ASAP.

You do some damage and take a little return fire next turn. 3 guys go down and you take a panic and flee, you are not able to regroup.

Sure with reroll morale you can still flee but they have that extra chance to mount up into the venom again and move onto another mission where they are needed. The warrior units are just to fragile to not give this fantastic upgrade, atleast in this kind of a list.

Well thanks for all ur help man. I tweaked it a little but in a couple of weeks I am supposed to have a doubles match 2k. DE + GK vs Tau + Crons so we will see how this goes. I think My grots will have some fire warrior slaves to pet lol
