There are far, far better burger houses than Ted's. If you want to pay $10 for a $4 hamburger, by all means go to Ted's, but I'll pass on that all day.
Likewise bison is far too lean to make for a good burger; the only way to have a really good bison burger (unless you like chawing on dry, brittle meat patties) is to mix it with fat, typically steer fat, so the whole 'bison experience' completely underwhelms me.
Edit: The same comment applies to ultra-lean beef (97%lean); it takes a culinary genius to turn a 97% lean product into a good hamburger. Typically through the addition of all sorts of external fat garnishes like mayo (or "special sauce" including mayo), cheese, bacon, butter, or various oils.
