Stubbers on everything!!! 3 on the vet searge!!!! Really though, remember with the HK missile that you likely don't want to shoot that at troops, unlike the rest of your weapons.

OK, just re-read my Codexes...
The new SM Codex states that pintle-mounted storm bolters count as an additional defensive weapon (p.25). This would support the tactics above.
The IG Codex, however, says that "a pintle-mounted weapon may be fired when the vehicle is eligible to fire another non-ordnance weapon". This reads (to me) as a choice between firing, say, the hull weapon or the pintle weapon, not both. This would mean the tactics above don't work.
Thoughts please!

For me, I take that to mean if you can fire a non-ord weapon, you can also fire the pintle mounted weapons. It doesn't say you have to choose, or that you can't fire the other weapons, it just says when you can fire the pintle weapon.

Yup, can read it that way too. Not clear is it? As written you can interpret whichever way is most advantageous. It's nowhere near as clear as the Marine Codex wording, which is quite explicit.

Where is the confusion? The rule says it may be fired when the vehicle is eligible to fire another weapon. The rules allow a vehicle to fire any number of defensive (S7 or lower) weapons. There is no possible interpretation that wouldn't allow the Stubber to be fired along with other defensive weapons on the vehicle. While the wording may be different from the SM codex, nothing indicates it is a choice between firing certain weapons or others.
