Dogma is a great movie, so great that even Kevin Smith protested it out of the sheer amount of awesome contained within.

Dogma is my favorite Kevin Smith film, also part of the reason why I'm proud to be from NJ.

Has anyone seen Smith’s new film, Red State? I kind of liked the idea of it, but it looked a little hamfisted in execution.

It was entertaining. It had all the highs and lows that you'd expect from Kevin Smith.

If you're not opposed to spoilers, the original ending would have been pretty cool given the context.

My only objection to the movie in terms of being hamfisted is the title, which really doesn't represent the actual nature of the movie.

I found Dogma, like most Kevin Smith films for me, would best be described as having diminishing returns. The first time is great fun but further viewings it become less interesting.

I generally agree with this, but that scene where Rosario Dawson dances on the roof in Clerks 2 never gets old.

In fact, it gets better every time I watch it.
