Suffolk, where the Aliens roam.

Imperial Guard and Orks atm.

When 6th turns up later in the year, I'll be adding a third from the box, hopefully Dark Angels. Otherwise who knows.

I just recently started collecting Tau. I've played Space Marines for a while.

Does it count if I recently started building a Space Marine army but I haven't yet gotten the chance to play it?

5,000 points of Tau
2,000 points of Space Wolves
1,000 points of Raven Guard
Almost none of which is painted.

Currently playing my Chaos Daemons, also starting a Chaos Marine army which will be a themed 'daemonbomb' tactic and inbetween the chaotic goodness, I'm slowly starting up a Knights of Blood army. (renegade BA successor chapter)

Apparently I really like chaos, maybe next year I should add Dark Angels as my 4th chaos army?!

Surprisingly balanced so far.

MEQ claim a staggering 47% of the whole, though only vanilla, Chaos and BA number above average.
I'm tempted to say the age of a codex isn't a relevant factor -at least not the most relevant- , seeing as Chaos and Eldar stand tall among the more recent books. The "competitive power level" doesn't seem to have any significance either ; IG and BA are doing well (that is to say above average), but we're way past the leafblower season and the BA have since been out-Warded.
Tau and SoB as far as I know have always been somewhat "niche" armies, and I suspect the old codices aren't helping either.

Open to discussion of course ! In fact, that's the point

Bandwagon seems kinda not really the cae considering on the poll the newer dexes have fewer players then older.

The enemy of my enemy is a bastard so lets kill him too.

Praised be the Emeror indeed. But i pray that SoB will get better, for only His watching eyes and power of will keep my dice rolling good for faith.
On the next editions: well, the future is clouded as to will Eldar be a competitive dex.
The screams of thousands hail that the Dark Eldar are performing as predicted and send their donations to Archon Vect on time.

On the inquisition: sisters of battle are under the command of the Eclesiarchy, they are equiped with weapons to kill witches, but the real hunters now are the grey knights as said above. But then comes the question: by useing pure inquisition, what did thou use for thine elite and fast slots? As my memory serves, those were the Sisters of Battle.

For he who can make the enemy unable to hit back only wins the battle.
For he who makes an entire army unable to attack, wins a war. Stay in cover where you get 2+

Right now, only Tyranids. I don't have enough, painted or otherwise, to consider starting a new army yet. I'd want to get them to roughly 3000 points, all painted before I even considered it.

When I was deciding which army to start playing 40K with, I really wanted to run the Templars, but then I heard there could be a new codex for them soon and decided it might not be the best time to start them.
