Playing against GKs an Eversor with 1 wound left charges my 6 chaos terms inc 2 champs accompanied by a lord with LCs, the Assassin does 1 wound I lose by 1....

On the flip side.

Playing my Sisters against a friend's lad introducing him to the game, his terminators shot and charged a Sisters squad, apparently I'd managed to save up all my 6++ saves from the past 5 games for this one combat, i felt bad as he'd done everything right, (he's a real good sport for a 12 yr old though) but everyone saw the funny side when i won the combat.

My top 5 moments are

2Mawlock Scatter 12" off board
3Eldrad taking down Abaddon and GD in one game (both on CC)
4Shock Attack Gun hehe bye bye SW bike squad (remove affects vs wolves = )
5 Probably number 3 again

Strangely similar to the OP, I had 6 FWs beat down a 4th edition Nids Lictor.

Also had 10 FWs beat down 6 charging harlies in the first round of combat, and had another 10 FWs hold a jetseer council in combat from around 2nd-3rd turn until the end of the game.

Had a Broadside beat down and chase a unit of Scouts off the table (originally thought it SA'd them, but someone pointed out Scouts had ATSKNF, so I must've misremembered).

Had a Crisis Suit hold up the Throne of Judgement in combat from T2 until game end.

Had a Daemon Prince turn a Crisis Commander into a Chaos Spawn on T2-3, which then charged the hammerhead behind it and blew it up, leaving 2 FW squads left in the enemy army, one of which got eaten by another spawn, the other by berzerkers.

Had a Rhino ram the rear of a hammerhead and blow it up.

A Wave Serpent taking 1 Krak Grenade, 2 Battlecannon shots, and 2 Lascannon shots and surviving, every turn until turn 6.

Shadowsword killed Creed from the opposite edge of the table. Creeds bunker was obbiderated by my shadowsword first, then my Hellhound squadron managed to get close to him and unleashed a firestorm killing his entire command squad in 1 go, but they ran out of shots before they killed creed. My shadowsword had nothing worth while to shoot at so i droped the little blast on top of creed and got a bullseye with duel 6s.


Only creeds boots were found afterwards.

Today I Warp Lances a rhino, the explosion killed 50 of my gaunts. FAIL!

Due to some awesome custom rules in a tournament today, all troops gained the deepstrike special rule. I play powerblobs as IG. Think for a moment...

turn one, all i had were 4 demolishers (which died instantly) 2nd turn, SUDDENLY GUARDSMEN. I was playing against an IG player who's been playing about 10 years, and he had tons of chimeras, a manticore, and psykers with terrain. I had literally 3 inches of room on any side or else I would mishap.

Direct. Hit. The look on his face as a powerblob landed in between all his tanks and a second one landed behind his main line was priceless. The PCS and CCS landed in between tanks as well, and I proceeded to wreck half his motor pool. My commander Straken even killed a manticore with a single plasma pistol shot! The best part was I didn't even lose a single man to mishaps! Twas a great moment

That said, I still lost the game (got tabled turn 5 due to some bad luck with templates...) but the look on that guy's face made it all worth it

I had a LRMBT sneak up on a squad of SW bloodclaws...and the tank wasn't outflanking

Killing Prince Yriel with 4 bolter rounds. 4 hits, 3 wounds, 3 ones. Nice.

Warp Spiders were right in front of my Veteran Squad. The Vets chuck a Demo Charge. It scatters back and kills the man in the BACK of my Vet Squad.

One guy playing Tau, one guy playing Chaos Sphess Mareens. Chaos Lord runs up to Battlesuit unit(3 suits). Gets shot at, takes one wound. Gets into combat- his Khorne Daemon weapon bites him. The Battlesuits slap him silly and kill him.

killed an ork vehicle. ramshackled back into a squad of boys or nobs (not sure) killed enough of them to fall back (off the board). the laughing stopped when I noticed the stompa.

I had 15 Necron warriors gunned down, 13 made their reanimation protocols

700pt game. GK (me) vs. new SoB.
I had 2 terminator squads and a librarian, he had some battle sisters and an Exorcist I think. Anyway, he gets first turn. Because of a brainfart on my part, I didn't reserve. Guess what? 5 Exorcist shots on one squad , ALL of them had negligible scatter. So, they're dead of course, they got vaporized. Second turn. The other squad without the librarian moves 6 inches, blows a bolter off a Rhino and promptly gets 4 rockets dumped on it, which had scattered just a bit more but still managed to wipe the squad completely. It was in a kind of small points tournament, and while we finished, some others didn't even finish their deployment. That was really hilarious at the time

My 5 sniper scouts got charged by 10 genestealers, took no wounds, killed 6, and watched the genestealers run off the board.

My Nightbringer got hit with Null Zone, 2 Dreadnoughts, Devastators, Land Raider, 2 vindicators, and 2 typhoon speeders. After surviving the shooting phase, the nightbringer gets assaulted by the two Dreadnoughts, the libby, and 5 TH/SS Terminators. The nightbringer killed both Dreadnoughts and the libby, then finally dies to thunder hammers...but kills 2 Terminators in the explosion. ...that was the last game of a RTT that I won.

I managed to tie a game using a vehicle that was immobilized and had all its weapons destroyed because my opponent forgot that it was still technically functional.

I had a Blood Angel Vidicator, lost all it's weapons from enemy shooting. Lots of nasty anti-tank on the board... so i decided to ram a wraithlord with only 1 wound.

Attempting death or glory on the tank, It botched it's attacks, and the Vidicator ran down the wraithlord.

Same game, my sanguinary guard armed with 5 infernus pistols, kinda went nuts.

- Deep striked in, removed a Leman Russ Executioner. Surivived return fire with zero casualties.
- Following turn, assaulted a well armed command sqaud. Wiped them out during their combat phase
- Jumped and melted another Leman Russ (standard version). Suffered 1 lost from concentrated eldar fire
- Charged and removed a squad of dire avengers in close combat.
- Suffered another casualty from guardians with weapon platforms.
- Charged and removed the following sqaud in close combat.
- The remainer of the game had them chasing a sqaud of fire dragons, which were cut down as well, with a loss of another man.

This was without any sanguinary priests as well.

3rd edition, Lone surviving Berzerker champion charges Fire Warrior squad, rolls 12 extra Axe of Khorne attacks...
12 sixes. One after the other.
Next turn kills the Ethereal and most of the army flees.

*snff* No one else even saw combat that game, Khorne was so pissed.

Needless to say, next time he saw battle it was as a Lord, still with his trusty axe.

I successfully ran over a Necron Lord once with my trusty battlewagon. Good old Big Red, it never lets me down.

I used a master of ordinance to shoot at a mob of hormagaunts (or tervigaunts, whichever one is shooty) it scattered 3d6 onto the group of genestealers that were eating through my veterans, and were too dangerous to shoot at. Killed all but 1.

I had a plasma pistol shoot down and destroy a BA Stormraven. It got a cover save and everything.

My buddy ran the Deciever in the old Necron Codex, but he always used the Nightbringer model. The answer of course was "The Deciever, he's decieving you:trollface:"
