But apart from that, true.
That's hardly sexism...
At least not on the part of the IoM...
The IoM is by far, the least sexist of all factions in Warhammer 40k. Everyone is a number waiting to get chewed up in the meat grinder!
Indeed!

No no, iom not sexist for that, im just sayin that that it aint neutral as its pretty much :
girls: SOB
boys: SM, the much more powerful faction.
Still not sexism on the IoM's part...

The Sisters of Battle are far far far fewer in number than the Space Marines.
Just ask any of Dakka's resident SoB nutcases !

the weapons are ridiculously large for any human, the pose looks like she's surfing while shooting in the air like a texan (sorry mel), the scabbard is under the ridiculously large trenchcoat, which couldn't possibly cover any less of her front if it tried, not to mention the ridiculously short skirt and corset.
but then, the internet/gaming community isn't exactly reknowned for having every woman ugly, and sensibly dressed...
back to the original question, it is entirely reasonable to have a female general commissar, or indeed guardsman of any rank.

^that^
But to be fair, if you don't like it, don't buy it, and someone, somewhere probably DOES like it because after all 40k is a game not real life.

I never thought I would ever see an more Indepth analysis, of a model to look like that.
I congratulate you sir!

Indeed! The reason I wanted a Female Lord General is so I can make is as a Humanized Luna for my "Luna's Legion". Just wanted to know if they were fluffy!

Not certain how long they've been around, certainly not since the Imperial Army.... not because they couldn't be, but simply because the preponderance of IA/IG units are male-only or very heavily male-dominated, the field of potential candidates for Lord Generalship is skewed very heavily towards male soldiers. That said, as the rank of Lord General is the highest rank available within the General Staff of the Imperial Guard, there's often not that many positions open at any given time (Lord General is not the same thing as Lord General Militant, who is the ultimate IG authority within a given sector of the Imperium), so while there may be some female Lord Generals, we've not been provided with their names in most of the fluff, apart from Jenit Sulla who is, indeed, the first recorded female Lord General. By the same token, we're not provided with the names of most of the male Lord Generals, either.
Incidentally, a Lord General is the same rank as the Lord Castellan of Cadia, Ursarkar Creed

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised. |
