Turbo lasers are installed, pictures soon to come.

As I was installing them I realized I don't think I understand the 'Twin barrel Turbo Laser Destroyers'
It says they're Strength 'D' which I believe means a destroyer hit which I've come to understand is about the most powerful hit possible...
But since it is called 'Twin Barrel...' dose that mean each set fires twice per turn? or is it similar to twin linking?
Can anyone explain in greater detail?

I've got my hands on some more card stock and modeling putty to rebuild the backs of the legs, so that is in progress.

I've lost the transfer cable for my phone so until I find a way to get pics off of it again pictures are gonna be sparse.

I'm also starting on the paint job, a nice shadow grey for the outward facing panels of the armor plates, black for the undercoat, and a few other grey tones for the rest.
My one worry about this plan is that it will look like a space wolf titan (awkward since I play Ultramarines)...

Well, put in some really bright Ultramarine Blue highlights....

To fix the horrible backs of the legs I wound up completely replacing both legs with plasticard legs.

Dose anyone know where I can find more info about strength D weapons and the 'twin barrel turbo laser destroyers'?

I've read through the Apocalypse rule book, but it doesn't get into specifics (or maybe I'm just blind), can anyone point me to a place where I can get more specific information on playing a titan like this?

I guess I'm still partial to just call it "the world ender"
though I'm still open to suggestions if anyone can think of a more fitting name for something who's damage per game is measured in square feet.

Im somewhere between "Emperors Rain" and "End Bringer". Though "Wrath of Mars" is also tempting.

Did quite well, I wasn't allowed to field my smurfs with my titan but we still won... hard.

Enemy Casualty list:
1 Baneblade tank
1 Shadowsword tank
1 Hellhammer tank
1 Land Raider(chaos)
1 Predator tank(chaos)
About 2 dozen chaos marines
About 1 dozen orks (flamas and sluggas)
1 Ghost Ark

I also destroyed a Tau skimmer of some sort that was our team, as well as a blood angel terminator from our team.

I lost 2 structure points, lost drive core (immobalized), lost a lava cannon (but got a techmarine to fix it).

Nice work on this thing...I've always loved the Warlord Titan look the best (walking castle just doesn't do it for me) and you've really nailed it...I would LOVE to see some additional detail work but I understand how daunting that must seem at this point.

Your thinking of the emperor class titian. That's the one that houses an regiment of skitari. And has a castle on top of it. That thing is damn near unkillable. Though, I've heard of a guy at a grand torniment that assaulted a Reaver titan with Castellen Crowe from the GK and managed to kill it. How you may ask? The 'Heroic Sacrificace' on a hit of 4+ the model that is in base to base contact with the brotherhood is removed from play and counts as a casualty.

Looks awesome. There are loads of good Gothic bits in the GW building sets that will give this a more finished look.

Indeed, I've been sorting through bits from a few different terrain sets and adding gubbinz accordingly, will post pictures of some of it when finals week is over.

The question is though, have you been able to play it in a game yet? It looks pretty damn good for a couple weeks work. Next project?

I like the idea of Mr. Potato stompa. Now that would be a fun project to do. I do admit I do envy ork players for having so much leway in their conversions.

Cool Ill have to read it. And to be fair, your friend WILL need more then a stompa to even come close to evening that monstrosity out. Gargant or bigger. Which makes it easier on the builder, because a simple cardboard box is half way there

Well most of the reason that I want to help him with a stompa is because I read the rules for the 'Lifta Droppa' on the big mek's stompa... that is an awesome weapon!
