Aw, man! So I couldn't import my face because of a bug?? How annoying. I did create a custom face and I did my best to make it look like my Shepard from ME1\2. I'd post a pic, but it looks like all those times I hit print screen did absolutely nothing. There is a screenshot folder so I guess it's possible but I'm not sure how without installing FRAPS.

It sounds like it's only an xbox bug or glitch or whatever you want to call it. Your character info gets imported just not the face.

Both the custom boy and girl shepards I made from ME2 were pretty fugly. They looked ok in the character generator thingy but in the actual game they were but ugly. So I'm just doing the default faces now

ME3 is a lot better about letting you see all the angles of the face thank god. This did bug the hell outta me the first 2 games. so i'm glad i had that for re-making custom shepard

I'm just happy I have hair now that doesn't look completely ridiculous.

Though trailer-trash Femshep Renegade is my favorite thing ever still.

How come I can only make the CC do something that looks perfect when I'm doing something twisted or funny?

I customized my Shepard. But I found there does seem to be less options. I used to have a pretty bad scar but that doesn't seem to be an option anymore.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I had some wicked scars in the first game. Apparently when Cerberus puts you back together in the second game (spoilers? oh go home) they decided to fix all that for you?

Yeah in ME2 you start off with scars that become more visible if your more renegade. But you can get a add on to your med-bay that makes them go away.

I made customized my character for when I played on the Xbox360. For the PC I chose default Shep.

I find this is the issue a lot of the time with hair colour and facial hair. I'll click stubble so its hardly there, but in game it looks like i have a full on beehive on my face and its darker than in the generator.

I could do it, and have in certain playthroughs, but to be perfectly honest the default face for male Shepard IS how the character should look. Obviously you can change it how you want I don;t really care how other players make there iteration look, but to me, I couldn't even entertain the possibility of using customized features.

On a side note, what level did folks Sheps start in ME3, just wondering if importing a ME1/2 character granted more Lvls, rewards?

Mine started at Lvl 31, which seemed an odd level.

I started at level 27, so I really have no idea how you skipped a level.

Not sure, might be connected to the fact she was a a high level ME1 character, also think she was a max level ME2 character as well.

Yeah, I started out at level 31 as well. I have no idea why, I just know that's how it was.

Anyone starting fresh without an imported character? Do they start at level 1?

I started level 30. Seems to carry on from what level you were in ME2.

As a side note, why don't most games let you walk your character around first before confirming your selection? I had to restart the game 3 times before i was satisfied.
