I'm interested to know more about GK inquisitor lists, whats in them? Whats a good general list to work off? Any ideas for things to convert?

To me this type of list has the most potential for good ideas, as you could create a very chaosy Lost and the Damned list, or an Ad mech list, or a Rogue trader cadre or some sort of xeno counts as list. Really the skies the limit. And with all the forge world and seconday market bits makers there's a number of ways to go about it.

What is in them unit wise? Well they start with Coteaz as he unlocks the henchman as troops. Then its really a matter of how you you want the list to function and how much of the Grey knight stuff you want in the list.

Afaik, there's no current legal rules list for L&tD, so it'd only be the kind of thing you could use at a FLGS, casual gaming club, etc

It would be a Grey knight list so should be no issue.

I had a bit of a look at Henchman, and came up with an idea.
A Xenos Inquisitor that has captured a Dark Eldar Haemonculus and is using him to create an army of arco-flagellants? Any good?

My vote is 'Nids. Orkz & Chaos are also good choices, and in terms of 'good army' they probably rank way above the 'Nids right now.

I think he meant running a GK henchman list with a LATD theme, which is doable at the moment.

Given the number of different themed that can be given on an inquisitor henchmen based list is seems like a great chance to convert a unique looking army, Orks are great to convert and look amazing but in henchmen lists you can have anything from admech to rogue, renegade to xenos tainted and then some (Corrupted ai themed list, lots of robot henchmen etc)

I would just like to chime in and say Chaos Space Marines. The demonically mutations leave a lot of room for cool conversions that loyalist marines just don't have access too- unless you have a strange obsession with wolf pelts . I've had a lot of fun converting my Chaos Lord, and I'm really looking forward to conversions on my Daemon Prince.

Sadly the Chaos Codex is currently not the most competitive, but they are slotted for an update soon. If I have learned anything from past MEQ updates, its that the Codex will be really good, and all the models will get a price hike. So If you could be interested in the ruinous powers, I'd consider starting now.

If this were the only criteria, GREY KNIGHTS. There are all sorts of henchmen and inquisitors you could make.

This:
Would prefer the vehicles to be at a minimum.

Would knock them out of the runnnig through, unless you just want to run a couple of henchmen deathstars...

Come on now, that ain't true. Warrior Acolytes can be kitbashed, they don't have to be the boring IG Cadian doods. Death Cultists and Crusaders can be made up too. Same with servitors. And the inquisitors themselves. Every single model on the inquisition side can be made up.

Only problem is, Inquisition lists have a good amount of vehicles. Well the other problem is converting / making up models by kitbashing can get expensive in real life. The DCA I made were definitely not cheap.
