"Salta to Devastators, come in Devastators. We are on the edge of a cave in need of purging, rewspond when ready." Salta whispered into the vox, nervously eyeing the dark maw of the cave

Marcel quickly responds "Devastators to Captain Salta, this is Battle Brother Marcel of the Emperor's Children. Our Sergeant has just been killed by the Hrud. We are in the middle of the cave, watch out for the Hrud, they have cloaking devices and they love to sneak and use their plasma weaponry. Do you have any smoke grenades from your Land Raider?"

"I don't but some of my squad might." Salta responded

Marcel Responds "If they have Smoke Grenades, that will help because it would help reveal the enemy. You wil be able to see themthrough the smoke. Which entrance are you at? I came in bia the South East Entrance. If you are near the same one it will be easier to meet each other. If not, we can meet each other at a location which will be safer for us both."

"Well aint that a bitch, I'm over on the south east. Me and my squad are carving a path through, lay down some fire and wait for me." Salta growled and shifted his hammer and shield into ready positions.
"FOR THE EMPEROR!" He shouted and rushed into the cave.

Marcel's vox went dead. All he had to do is wait but he had to do his part or he would fail his duty to his Legion. He yelled "You unsubtle rats come and fight me, you Hrud mongrels! I will show you that I am superior to you and by the far the better shot than you. I will have VEGEANCE for the fallen." The Hrud reacting to his taunts came to his position, they started firing hopelessly as the Devastators returned fire with Plasma Cannons and Missile Launcher. He must show the World Eaters that this Legion can stand up to them as their equals.

Arshak returned from his sweep. There was still no sign of Salta and the rest of the Honour Guard, but he would wait no longer. The area was secure and there were no sign of any threats approaching the area. Arshak assigned two of his Scouts to watch the area and report any movement in the area. Arshak and the other two Scouts would go and help the Captain.

As Marcel saw a glimpst of Salta and his Honour Guard. He ran to see Salta smash a Hrud in the face. Salta and Marcel stared at each other, not knowing what to say...

Salta shoved Marcel out of the way and drove his hammer into a Hrud beast, shattering it's head.
"STAY BACK AND GIMME COVERING FIRE!" he shouted at the downed Emperors Child

Arshak and his scouts located the immobilised Land Raider. They moved swiftly up into the hills and into the cave system. Following the sounds of fighting Arshak led his scouts around the fight and circled in to take the Hrud in the rear, his scouts picking off the Hrud with precise sniper fire while Arshak got stuck in with bolt pistol and blade. Caught between the anvil of Salta's honour guard and the Emperor's Children and the Hammer of Arshak's scouts the Hrud were soon picked apart and broke from combat, those that weren't killed fleeing into the cave system.

Marcel thought Thank the Emperor I am safe. I shouldn't of let my guard fail like that. I nearly failed and it nearly costed my life. Luckily Captain Salta saved me even if he is a bit imprudent...
He turned to the Scout Sargeant. "Excuse, I do believe we have not meet before, I believe an exchange of names is of order. My name is Marcel of the Emperor's Children. What is yours?"

"I'm Arshak. World Eater." he replied. He turned to Salta. "You were taking too long. Follow me."

"You take all the fun away from it." salta said with a laugh and went off after the Sergeant

Marcel turned on his vox and sent a frequency to Captain Kaesoron. "Marcel Reporting in Captain, we have destroyed most of the Hrud population and the remaining pose little threat though they managed to nearly overwhelm us. We lost Seargant Bartholomew... He was a good man and our squad will feel his lose. What is my current orders?" Captain Kaesoron did not respond for a few seconds. He finally said "His lose is a big blow to our Legion, every lose is... You might be promoted to his old rank when you are finished with your current mission, do not rush or let it cloud your judgement? Understand" Marcel replied "Yes sir. Good, we can't allow you to have a lapse of judgement. I would like you to help Captain Salta and help kill the Chemosaurus population."

The Devastators finally caught up to the World Eaters when he heard some steps from behind... He saw an Ultramarine Squad and a Captain in Tactical Dreadnought armour, he weilded twin lightning claws. The Captain and him looked at each other. The Ultramarine Captain said in an mocking tone "I was called up to this planet so I could help the World Eaters quell the Chemosaurs and now I see a pathetic Devastator Squad which somehow lost their own Sergeant and a Captain which has somehow got his Land Raider immobilised. My Primarch however keeps my legion up to standards, I wish your's did the same Devastator." One of the other Ultramarines said in a scared tone "We shouldn't be saying these things Captain Tarasios, it brings shame to our legion." Tarasios laughed and said "I was joking anyway Eusebio, I think they can take some joking critism. If they can't they are cowards. We are here to help both of you. Our Primarch Robert Guillimanhas decreeded that the Ultramarine legion will help you both." Marcel stood back not knowing what to say. I can't trust the Ultramarines but it would be rude to deny their help. It may even deny my promotion, what do I do? I guess I have to wait for Salta to make his move. God I hope he doesn't try and hack their brains apart.

"Well if Rawbutt has deigned to send his warriors then we will have you, but I am calling in two of my oldest friends from across Reaper, we will establish a kill team with them and take whatever transport is available to us." Salta said, only holding back from punching Tarasios in his patrician face. He blink-clicked two runes on his visor display and jammed a homing beacon into the ground. They waited for ten minutes until a Storm Eagle carrying Axian, a Sons of Horus Terminator Sergeant hand-picked by the Fabricator General to test the new Tartaros pattern armor, and Targam, a Death Guard Captain whose razor sharp mind had made him famous amongst the legions. Targam was first out of the ship, a lumbering brute in his old rusted Mark II armor that had gone almost nine centuries without repair. He shoved past the others until he met Salta face to face.
"How is your front?" He asked.
"Gettin bigger every second, wheres Ax?" Salta replied. A huge shape sprinted out of the bay and did a few laps around Salta.
"I love this new armor, its so light and doesn't restrict mobility, its perfect!" He shouted, over excited as usual. As he stopped the regulars marched out, 10 Sons of Horus Terminators and 10 Death Guardians.
"Now its a fething party, lets move!" Salta shouted and headed for the exit

(When Salta was in the Storm Eagle)
Marcel was quietly waiting for Captain Salta and his friends to exit when Captain Tarasios approached and said "Tell Salta, that I have sent a Techmarine to repair his Land Raider and that they are nearly completed. Also, I have organised for some Rhinos to be dropped off for us. You should really thank us for helping you, you clearly need it after the situation you put yourself into. I have already cleared my region for the threat of Chemosaurs so I was told to relieve your pathetic legion. I usually do not want anything to do with the Emperor's Children." Marcel laughed. Tarasios said "What on earth do you find funny? Tell me now or I will report you for mockery of my legion, this is absurd." Marcel said at least with fustration "I find it funny that you are saying that I clearly need help yet you need some lessons on social skills, you pompous donkey-cave." Captain Tarasios' smile became a frown and every feature of his face darken. He turned on his lightning claws. Breathing heavily. He walked up to Marcel and yelled at the top of his voice "Apologise now or I will put you down myself you dog. How dare you insult a Captain of the Ultramarines legion, you filthy self-indulgent coachroach. Come one bend down now or I will cut your stupid skull in a thousand pieces and blame it on the chemosaurs." Little did Captain Tarasios know that the doors of the Storm Eagle was opening as he was shouting at Marcel. All 3 Captains heard Captain Tarasios openly shout down and try to humilate Marcel.

While Salta greeted his two friends. Marcel got into an argument with an Ultramarine Captain which leads to the Ultramarine Captain threatening Marcel to beg for forgiveness just as Salta and his friends leave the door.

Ok, gotcha!

Salta saw the Ultramarine threatening the Devastator from the Emperors Children and flew into a rage. He picked up the massive Terminator and threw him against the cave wall. Tarosis stood and rushed him with his lightning claws blazing. He attempted to clap his hands together and stab Salta through his hearts. Salta stood up slightly higher and let the blow catch him in the stomach. Tarosis looked up with a smug face at Salta. Then his expression turned to shock when he realized Salta had grabbed his arms and was forcing them to remain in his stomach. With his free hand Salta punched Tarosis in the face again and again until the Captain's face was naught but a bloody pulp. The Ultramarines behind him rose their bolters and fired. Salta dove for cover, but the hail only lasted for a few seconds. Salta peeked around the corner and saw a Word Bearers Chaplain standing with a mound of bodies in front of him and his armor drenched in blood.
"Hello Captain, I must speak with you and your team at once." Chaplain Erebus said.

Arshak had heard the gunfire. He found a Word Bearers chaplain standing on a mound of murdered Ultramarines. As the chaplain addressed Captain Salta Arshak slipped behind him and brought his combat blade to the marine's throat. "You'd better talk, and tell me what this murder of our brothers means, Word Bearer, or I'll give you a new red smile a few inches below your mouth." Arshak growled.

"AR LOWER YOUR WEAPON NOW DAMNIT!" Salta shouted.
"It is okay Captain, his concern is understandable." Erebus put two fingers to Arshak's steel and lowered it slowly.
"I am Chaplain Erebus of the Word Bearers legion, and these marines attacked your Captain. I had to step in when I saw such a mutiny." Erebus said, his words layered with an almost overdone sincerity.
"THE fething U:TRAMARINE STABBED ME!" Salta screamed

"My lord Erebus, may I offer you my sincerest apologies!" Arshak said. "What are we going to do with these dead Ultramarines? Gulliman will want to know how they died, what do we tell him? He'd never believe that his precious legion would attack us."

"We tell him that the Chemosaurs felled them and wounded Salta in the process, that will make more than enough sense." Erebus said.
"I agree." Salta said, looking to his friends for approval. Targam and Axian nodded in sync.
"We will stand by you no matter what Salta." Axian said and Erebus cleared his throat.
"Now my reason for coming here is to be heard by Salta's ears only, if you would be so kind as to give us a few minutes of peace." Erebus said.

Marcel heard a buzz in his vox. "Sorry guys, I need some Privacy, also."

Marcel finally turned on his vox, when he was greeted with an eager Sweedish Drunken Accent. "Hic, oh hey Marcel my good friend! How ya been my buddy!" Yep, it's Hegbjǫrn alright. By the Emperor he's a nice guy. Marcel and Hegbjorn have been friends ever since they both were Scouts. They somehow keep on meeting each others in different circumstances and have acquired quite a good friendship. Marcel replied Hey Heg, I'm ok. I'm having a bit of a hard time in my front. The Hrud have been a bit more troublesome than predicted. Also, some other issues has arisen in my time here"
Hegbjǫrn laughed in the vox loudly "Thatsh fine my good friend, I'm going to get me and my shquad to be relieved and we will drop pod down and we help you exterminate the Hrud and Chemoshaurs. Don't worry we will be there." "Ow, my ears. Heg, not too loud, you are talking into the vox remember" "Umm, whoops sorry...anyways... hic! we are going to meet you soon Marcel." Marcel came back and just smiled and looked up waiting for his friend to arrive. He also expected some Ultramarines to arrive with a Land Raider and some Rhinos soon.

The Death Guard Contemptor smashed through the cave wall, followed by 2 Rhinos of the same legion, and a Land Raider from the Word Bearers.
"Ultramarine reinforcement will be here soon, you have to get in these vehicles and go to that apartment, are you ready?" Erebus asked, more worry in his voice than usual.
"Yes sir, and I will give great thought to your suggestion, First Chaplain." Salta said and lumbered off towards the Land Raider.
