obligitory 1984 reference aside, I really don't think this is a good idea, while it has good intentions, catching terrorists, I'll give it about 2mins before they start snooping on whatever they feel like.

but all terrorists need to do is pre-establish code words, say nipping down to the shops actually means, going out to the garage to make some more nailbombs, it won't help much and will only make a potential terrorist even MORE paranoid.

Also, why is it just because they use terrorist, taliban, al-Qeada or something else similar they think we're all going to accept this as ok.

It reminds me of that phone thing in the dark knight, now we just need to find our Alfred....
