Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high

However, place him in the forefront of the charge, and i guarantee that squad will take the majority of the fire.
That unit will kinda be serving as a semi-'ard sacrifical squig...if you pardon the expression.
Against shooty armies, that KFF will pay for itself 8/10

Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum.

it affects a unit if 1 boy is within 6 inches.

Kans need full coverage but squads only require a single person to be in range.

Place your boys / burnas / Kans carefully, and your whole army is protected.

Play smart and win!

Oh yes it can buddy. Only one model has to be within range for the whole squad to get it and if properly congo lined, you can get your whole army under it. I really like the list as you have it. Only change I would make was either drop the lobbas or make them kannons and get a kff in there somehow it is amazing.
Dr. What wrote:But what would I drop to add transportation for all of da boyz?

And each squad won't fit into a transport...

To get transports your whole list would have to change. It would not stay the same. If you want help on a transport list(which is my prefered way to run orks.) pm me and I can help you out.

Thanks for the help!

I've added the KFF and dropped the lobbas (edited above).

If I've got a KFF, then I won't change anything else to add transport. Boyz before toyz and I don't want to drop any boyz.

You wont need tankbustas. Just use em as rokkits in your boys squads.
20 boys is a great size for battlewagons. On foot, they should be 30 in size.
19 grots + 1 runtherder is your magic number for objective camping

You should decide now if you want to do foot or BW spam. If you want BWs, then start buying em. I suggest 3.
If you want to go with foot, your going to need a lot more boys. Expect to field about 120 or so at least.

Vs tau or shooty armys is where orks need their speed, burna boys i find are useless trying to get to a target on foot. In a open top battlewagon well.... that's where they belong. Either go for all transports to get your guys in as fast as you can or go full green tide, prefer with meks with kkf for cover saves. Mobile and shooty tau can just pick you off mid field., but the deffchopters will be his greatest fear and will prime them first, just run them at the hammerheads and fishes.
