I suggest you try Humbrol poly cement, never had any problems with it.

Another Humbrol user wheey!
But Humbrol is a UK based company... Based in Hull of all places! (those who know... well y'know! lololol - I lived there for 4 years So I feel allowed to insult the place )
I don't know if its widely available around the world or not?
Do the Americans here see Humbrol products on the shelves anywhere?

Super glue work around water molecules in the stuff you wanna glue, so you ALWAYS want the surface beying glued to be humid. Dont make it wet thought. I generaly spit some air into the model before gluying... (just wet your tongue, and force the air out of your mouth, enough water will be carried in a spray).

It is a common issue when you are trying to repose old models that where glued with super glue... (Super glue make te plastic very dry, so you need to wet it again)

If that dont work, pin it and add super glue: it will work...

If my post show some BAD spelling issues, please forgive-me, english is not my natural language, and i never received formal education on it...

I personally don't like superglue and still recommend the polystyrene cement, it just seems the GW brand is terrible and maybe you should try something else. I can personally recommend either Testors or Revell and I'm sure there are other good brands too.

I've had good luck with the thin GW plastic glue, though I often have to switch the metal wand it came with because it gets stopped up. I got a different bottle in an eBay auction I won that's awesome, but I can't recall the name of it (I'll look when I get home, if I remember).

I typically use super glue to glue something together, like an arm to a torso. If it's being stubborn, I'll get the piece arranged with super glue, and then put a spot of superglue somewhere on the seam between the pieces and spray it with activator. This allows for the activator-enhanced superglue to hold the pieces together while the super glue that I didn't spray cures.

My main preference is to plastic glue torsos, legs, and bases together. Depending on the model, I'll plastic glue the backpacks as well. I prefer to use super glue on the arms so that I can switch out weapons.

Loctite glue is wonderful stuff.

I out with in both 40k and WHFB.
