I used to use Wayland Games and they were really, really good up until about a year ago.
Then they became absolutely awful, slow to deliver items that they claim are in stock and they have a crappy tone to their responses.
They're not the cheapest, they're very slow to deliver and often I find pieces of my order getting refunded because they're not coming in for ANOTHER week or two - that's not a happy customer, I wanted what I paid for. My last order was in February and it was agonizing waiting so long for a Tau dex and Bforce. That was their last chance with me.
They've literally lost out on about a thousand pounds I've dropped on the hobby in the last 2 years that I've given another, much better site instead, who will continue to get my money for the next thousand.
Don't use Wayland Games, they're not the best, cheapest or fastest

totalwargamer is another decent site with similar prices to Wayland if you are not a fan.

I haven't used wayland as yet as was put off by a friend who said they're slow. I have used Total Wargamer a few times now and everythings arrived within the 10 days they specify. They did miss an item from one of my orders and after contacting them the missing item was through my mailbox the very next day.

This has happened to me. After waiting ages they send out my order - minus one of the things I wanted. AVOID.
I will use darksphere from now on I think, or total wargamer - haven't used them before though.

Hurr! Ogryn Bone 'Ead!

I was going go make an large order with wayland, phoned to check stock, of which a lot wasn't in stock(cadian/imperial guard)! Was also informed that delivery to me wouldn't be for nearly a month!!
Anyway placed my order with total wargamer, they had practically everything in stock, were cheaper and had no problems..... So guess I know who'll be getting my orders in future :-)

I'm going to have to stick up for Wayland Games, granter their current turn around times have been slower then normal. I placed an order end of May turned up last Friday.
However I took the following in to consideration:
1) Wayland Games are moving warehouse (again) which means they probably ran down their stock levels to make the move easier for them. Hopefully this will be their last move for a while.
2) Games Workshop price rise, this most likely led to an increase in orders being placed with them (this included me)
3) Free shipping voucher, let’s face it who would not want some for free. Again this prompted my decision to order.
4) This is the one that is out of their hands for the most part, AFAIK Games Workshop only process 1 supplier order each week, I think the cut off is early in the week as well (dont quote me on this, its was a while ago I had the conversation with someone).
Now even if you exclude Wayland moving warehouse, the cumulative effects of the other 3 points will easily cause a delay. You also need to take into consideration how many other people are ordering the same items as you.
Ok, some people out there will now mention that Wayland Games should have sufficient stock levels to allow them to fill the orders. However unlike other retailers, I would challenge someone to find away to accurately predict trends within the purchase of hobby items, you may be able to say in winter you will shift more stock, but which stock? You do not know what projects your customers are currently involved in.
Lets use the Baneblade as an example, RRP £70, WG price £56 (assumed 20% reduction, couldn’t be bothered to check) say they decide to keep 1 in stock at all times and if it goes order a new one on the next delivery. If 2 people both order one on the same day, after Wayland have done there order for the week. 1 person gets their Baneblade quite quickly (you would hope) the other would have to wait for Wayland to place their next order, for Games Workshop to deliver, then internal Wayland Games process for it to be shipped to you. Probably 2-3 weeks. Wayland have to consider their stock levels of all items, those items they don’t shift many of they will not have high levels of stock of, simply put 4 baneblades on the racks will cost them £(insert what ever figure seems right) now if they don’t shift many on a regular basis this has cost them money. Bad business practice I would argue.
All my other orders have turned up quickly with no issues, likewise I used Darksphere recently they did a fantastic job as well, on this occasion they were £5 cheaper then Wayland.
I find it pays to check with multiple suppliers before I order as they all cost things differently. I tested this between Wayland and Darksphere 3 months back the same models and postage option and one worked out cheaper then the other, tried a different selection of models and the reverse took place.
The one thing I will say before I stop is this, just remember you are on average paying around 20% less then if you went to a store.
