Actually the truckload of scientific data seems to debunk GW these days. From big things like the CO2 emanations of all the world's termites dwarfs industrial human output to little things like 'global warming' has now morphed into 'climate change' because so many areas are cooling down.
AFAIK global warming was a term the media used rather than the people studying it. Climate change was always the term but for some reason global warming was an easier concept...

I was given a bet. "Convince me." Because they told me there is no possible way that they would never ever cry to a song or music. Period! Well. He did. I convinced someone that I micro evolved my neck after wearing turtle necks for so long.
A much sadder and more moving song...
Thats not sad at all mate. O.o If your trying to make fun of my point. Then read the lyrics i wrote above. The Lyrics if you want them dumbed down are basically. Never SAy goodbye to the life we left behind. - Saying good bye to someone this person loves. Well I knew the life to come scared like me. - He is scared of what the future will bring The Night Held secrets untold months to follow to unfold. - The time they spent together would not be forgotten. The Child that came was truly meant to be. - The time we had together was meant to truely be with us both. Your Far Away- Now your gone, so far away, Afraid we won't survive I'm afraid I won't provide - I am afraid I cannot provide you what you search for. You are too far away. And this relationship between us will not last long it will wither. It's how I really felt till I met you. - I am too scared to tell you this, but I remembered why, He/her loves her/him. Your So far away. So far away. - Now your gone, and so far away from me. This is what happens when you take 3 months of Music Theory, Creative Writing, and AP Lit. I dissect music too much Now how does this relate to how I changed someones opinion. I just tried to change someones opinion. Music is deeper than you think. If it is done right that is.

Well I take apart the lyrics and start interperting the music according to it seeing if it is a poem or a random gyberish that the artist threw in. Good Music is in Poem form.
Bad Music is Gyberish, with all the words scrabbled to make an effect.
It is possible you just don't listen to music. You are trying to see it from another angle. Hence why I hate alot of bands.

Good Music refers to music that can convey the artist's feelings correctly and not confusingly. Like a few genres of music that make no sense what so ever.

True. But some music makes some people cry. Like Eric Whitcare music. You either have two reactions. or an emotional response, or you will freeze and wonder how it exists. (I have talked to two people that like rap music and heavy metal and when they heard a few songs by Eric Whitcare the Composer they froze and had an emotional response,

Really good music becomes a crossover hit (not necessarily a top 40 one), but at least to the point where individuals who aren't even fans of the genre appreciate the song.

So what I can't count. You convinced me of that. Plus Heres another story. So I was talking to this girl and I told her that the reason why I had such a long neck was because I wore turtle necks. She said "Wait really? I didn't know you could do that!" Me: "Did you know that men are 10x more likey to give birth than a women?" She said "What? That's not right." Me "Neither is what I said about my neck, yet you believed that, why do you have so much trouble believing that?" Her: "........" I convinced her of that. I think I also convinced a few girls I could open a door without using my hands. (Push doors) Automatically Appended Next Post: Amaya wrote:You mean Eric Whitacre?

Now a few songs I have sang that aren't choir music, are really good. Though I am a hopeless Romantic. Now So Far Away. Is a good song. And it may not be the best but if you have been in that situation it is a great song.

And some bands are masters of it. Or integrate aspects of it masterfully.
For proof see Elizabeth Fraser, particularly her work with the Cocteau twins. Stunning ability to convey emotion with melody alone.
