Kind of funny how some of the older Chaos stuff can now fit into the loyalist forces as long as it doesn't have spikes.

I used his backpack on an inquisitor model (for my Witch Hunters) myself.

I will participate in this challenge, and although I have never put a picture onto the computer before, I'm sure someone I know can help me with that

@Koridon: The dark angels consider him one of the fallen but if i remember rightly his true intentions have never fully been revealed.

I just wanted to announce that whomever the original poster picks as the best painted model in this challenge will be receiving from me as a prize two of Space Corsair's Female Space Marine Conversion Kits - that's enough to convert 10 Space Marines. I'm hoping that prize support will drum up some interest in participating. Second and Third place will each receive a single Female Space Marine miniature (requires another company's arms, weapon, and backpack to assemble). Count me in. Due to work and school, I may not get a chance to finish, but I'll give it my best.

Work in progress. Instead of having a rose as an insignia I've decided to make the marine hold it.

The basecoat paint is pretty awful though so may have to strip it.

I am sorry I missed this thread until now.

My girlfriend works at a CF clinic here in Los Angeles so I have had an opportunity to learn about the disease through her and I have come to admire the hell out of the patients and their support networks of friends and family that fight against CF daily.

I'd like to enter a figure as well but the only infantry I have at the moment are 40k Orks. Any chance a Battletech `Mech could stand in as an infantry figure? They are about the same size as most infantry models. If not I'll make the Ork work.

I fully support the use of a Battlemech.

In fact, I may just paint up a second figure. I've got an old, lead Atlas sitting around...

And i do agree you have to admire the pain and suffering they go through daily. As a spouse to them you need strength, courage, and love and she ended up getting me one of the rings on a chain with the Chinese symbols of those words on it. That ring symbolizes what it means to be there rock in a stormy sea.
