Amaya wrote:Really, so even though I perceive that the bus is stopping quicker than I think it could even if the driver slammed on the brakes justifies you being your generally snarky self.
You raised a point with a fairly straightforward answer. Don't be surprised when you receive an equally blunt and straightforward response.

Don't worry, questioning the truth only when something is actually true is kinda Amaya's thing.
Notice at around 0:02 that this is also happening near a set of lights.
The break in the flow of traffic right before he ran out onto the road may have been when the light was red if it did happen at that set and not a different one.

Fix'd that for you...
Sorry CT, but that is not even close to LARPing. Silly boys and your preconcieved notions of what is what.
Larping is
www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-17914502. And can be at times modern, without weapons. Its funny how people have these stupid ideas that LARPing is just beaning someone with a foam sword.

What part of this is so confusing for you?
Based on the video we can not tell if the bus ran a red light.
There is an stoplight just a few yards away from the point of impact.
It appears as if the driver is stopping for the stoplight and was already decelerating before he could have reacted to Obama running into the street.

But if he were stopping for the red light he had missed it as you can see the light for that lane was before the impact. Thus he was breaking for the passenger a little or had missed it. The bus seemed to not be travelling too fast at the time it hit so it may have even just started moving from the light.
First I thought there was going to be an epic rap battle. Then I bought there was going to be an awesome foam melee and some of those frat boys would beat each other intelligent with those swords. Then some kid got hit by a bus.
I'm glad he walked away. Still hilarious.

That was pretty amusing it has to be said, plus Im sure the lad will be alright.
Is there any word on his injuries?
This may be my usual over confidence, but I would presume that getting hit by a bus in that manner would actually be way better then getting hit by a car, in that I expect the main injuries would be incurred by flipping over it and snapping your limbs when you land badly, being hit by a solid flat object in this manner, I dunno.. I would figure maybe a concussion and that's about it?
I could be wrong of course..
I know a lad who got hit by a bus and didnt break anything though! And he told me he got hit by a mini two years earlier and broke both his legs.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Edit- Oh sorry, I just read the rest of the post. I was right then, minor injuries!

We are arming Syrian rebels who support ISIS, who is fighting Iran, who is fighting Iraq who we also support against ISIS, while fighting Kurds who we support while they are fighting Syrian rebels.

There's just something magical about it all, isn't there? The slow motion impact, the horror etched on their face, the distorted sounds, lovely.
