It does look like a tricky situation, but its a fair bet that he got out of it with only a ripped shirt!

Good news. This is the best time in the hobby. Full of promise. GW lets us down each time and we know it but secretly we're hoping that this is the edition that GW gives us a balanced game that can also be played competitively at tournaments. I'm loving it.

Ha, I like it. Normally I'm not a fan of GW's goofy running poses, but it works for squigs.

I'm not a big fan of the pose, or the paintjob, or the 6 eye thing...
Still I suppose if there's one thing I'd ever actually buy from Forgeworld this is leading the pack, as I love me some squigs.
Red squigs damnit!

Lol at your posts in this thread, MGS
And good point about the paintjob, I do think it's letting this model down, and would look a lot better done differently.

That's actually kinda sad... I'm always rooting for that guy. I hope one day FW actually gives him a name. Wally or Waldo almost seem appropriate.

Really?
Where's that from? Because if true that's rather disappointing.

Zing
Someone like Ifalna needs to paint up this squig!
Could look pretty amazing if done right with an airbrush, like this (much smaller) squig of hers is.

Curiously, "Steve" can be found in the 2004 WH Chronicles taking shelter alongside a Stegadon-analogy. Apparently the Big Guys don't like it when Little Guys (a Skaven, in this case) pick on their playthings.

I always though he was more of a Barry. Don't know why.
The giant squig could always be made into a giant squigachu like:

Given the pose, and the Germanic influence on the Empire, I'd have to say his name is Hans.

I love me some squigs. I think they're honestly one of my favorite parts of the whole Orc and Goblin range, and a great reason I'll never be selling my old O&G army. I actually still have an unopened blister of squig herders sitting around somewhere...
