Thinking about this for awhile and it's probable that, on top of the O2 scrubbers, recyclers and other techno-apparatus in place that keeps the air in Hives somewhat breathable, you've got a whole lot of room in Hives for things like hydroponic gardens that breed some sort of super-oxygenating plant that, through genetic engineering by the Mechanicus, creates like a thousand times more oxygen that it would normally be expected to through photosynthesis and other planty habits.

With enough gardens like this in place, scattered throughout the Hive, you'd probably not have a great atmosphere, but definitely one capable of supporting human life.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.
