I think 3 night scythes and a doom scythe might be good flyers to have around, Then you can easily avoid being within 6'' of some BA with them. The question are they worth their points, now as a distraction from expensive stormravens they probably are, given they can come on and land their robots beside any quadgun.
Else they provide antiflyer threat, which you'll want from an ally but no ally can really give you in a major way.
