I play Codex Marines because i like the idea of truly heroic warriors who live only for battle. They live to die in the most glorious ways possible and when they do they leave only their battle brothers and their legends behind. I also really like their values of Honor and Courage and all. Even if they are ordered to go on a suicide mission they bravely carry out their orders.

I work at a Veterans Hospital and sometimes i like to imagine space marine veterans wondering around, going to their appointments and such. lol.

I play Necrons for 2 reasons!

1) I freaking LOVED the terminator films as a kid!

2) I picked them up from the old codex, and the idea of a relentless tide of souless "robots" rising up and silently advancing across a ripped and destroyed battlefield is something that i would find haunting beyond belief. In addition the newer fluff, the race of "heavily sunburnt" necrotyr being betrayed by the C'tan is a little...well, sad.

I loved Dark Angel for the fact that they are not only gunning against Xenos and Heretics, but also even their own 'allies' sometimes, all in the name of restoring honor to themselves and their predecessors.
